Story
Bo will need a home that is super patient and willing to give him time to decompress.  You will also have to come to the shelter more than once to visit with him. He is fine with our staff but takes time to warm up to ALL new people.  He reacts ok to some dogs but MUST meet and new housemates.  He was in a home prior to coming here, for a short time, and they said he would growl at their children from time to time (which is why they brought him to us).  So we suggest NO children.   Anyone interested in meeting him MUST come to the shelter and complete an application if you decide you would like to be considered.   ***better photos will be posted soon Morrow County Dog Shelter, Mt. Josie is 2 years old. She loves to play - throw the ball - and loves to run. She is free to a good home and comes with her own cage and leash. She will not wander off, she will stay close to home. She will follow and sometimes lead on a leash. She is crate trained. She is not spayed nor up to date on vaccines. She is very shy around new people. She will eventually warm up to you after she gets to know you. She is scared of loud noises. She is very loving and a good girl.

Story
We rescued Marko 3.5 years ago from a group that cannot take him back, so we are looking to find him a new home that can better accommodate his needs. He is 6 years old and full of energy to exercise and play. He would do best in a home that has a tall fenced in yard to run around in since he has been known to jump, or with owners who can take him on daily walks. His owner will need understanding and patience to work with him on his anxiety in certain situations. He has previously shown aggressive behavior at the vet but has improved over time and now only displays anxiety. He also gets anxious during car rides. He does well with dogs similar in size, but needs time to warm up to larger dogs with alpha personalities. He loves our other dog and will need time adjusting to a home without her. He loves being around people and could tolerate being in a home with older kids/teenagers who can handle his behavior. Younger children are not ideal due to his energy level.
