Once we've built a bond, I will greet you with a wagging tail and kisses everytime I see you. · I have enjoyed hikes with my foster parents and working on trick training. I'm super smart! · I have a very particular diet but the adoption staff would be happy to talk to you more about what does and doesn't work for me.· There is a special surprise related to my adoption fee, find out what it is when you come in to visit with me!Did you know that Seattle Humane has Puppy and Dog training classes? Story
Adopting a puppy is great fun, but puppies require a LOT of dedicated time for training and socialization, including exposure to many different situations. This means puppy classes, lots of daily exercise, playtime, attention, and ongoing training will be essential as this dog will be energetic and playful for many years to come. Puppies can't be left unattended for more than a couple of hours at a stretch in the first several months. A household or guardian who is ready to take on the challenges of housetraining, grooming, and making sure their new family member becomes a well-adjusted canine citizen is necessary. Please do some research on bringing up puppies before submitting an application for adoption. Pets are complex beings and prior to adoption, interested adopters will be counseled by a staff member to discuss the specific needs for each animal. This will include reviewing all known medical and behavior information.** Please note that some animals will receive numerous inquiries, sometimes more than we can process. We appreciate your understanding and patience. **HOW TO ADOPT: Check the animal's location.(If you cannot see the animal's location, please view the pet's profile through our website: https://www.seattle.gov/animal-shelter/find-an-animal/adopt)From the Dog Kennels/Kennel Group I/Kennel Group Q (in shelter):To meet this dog, please come to Seattle Animal Shelter at 2061 15th Ave W, Seattle, WA 98119, between 1 - 5 pm Saturday, Sunday, Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday.
