Story
Hi! My name is Zodiac and I am available for adoption.I was brought in by an Animal Control Officer on January 14, 2025.I weigh 77.0 lbs and am considered a `large breed` dog.I am a large, but sweet fellow! I am full of energy and I love to play! I tend to calm down more when the people around me stay calm. I do best when I have lots of exercise and something to keep my mind busy. Due to my size I would thrive best in a home without younger children.I am strong dog who is working on my leash skills, but I am treat motivated so that will help aid with any further training needed :)I am a spirited dog with a fun-loving personality! I am still working on my manners, so I would do best with a family who is willing to work with me and help me become the best dog I can be!

Story
Bully lovers beware- this bio may cause feelings of extreme adoration, excitement and decreased objections to adopting a new dog. Continue reading at your own risk! Estimated to be 2 years old, and weighting 43 lbs, Bambi is likely a pocket-sized American Bully mix. She is a rescue, so this is just our best guess. Miss Bambi has the cutest doe eyes, and the biggest smile- it’s so easy to fall in love! Meet Bambi here: https://youtu.be/c2TK0vjBHVc?feature=shared Bambi is so incredibly people oriented, trusting and sweet with everyone she meets. She’s a total snugglebug, and always happy to meet new people. She loves to kiss and she makes the cutest little piggy grunt noises. She’s too cute! With other dogs, Bambi is all bully. She’s happy to meet, excited to play, vocal and fun. She’s the life of the doggy party, and so friendly with every dog she meets. Bambi is easy on leash, but be warned, she will try to convince you to go meet as many dogs as possible. She knows how to “sit,” and she’s so people-oriented that she checks in with her handler naturally and frequently. She’s a well-behaved girl with so much potential to become your perfect pup. Bambi also has loads of personality. She’s really expressive, and makes lots of faces, so it’s easy to tell what she’s thinking. She’s a funny and opinionated girl. Whether she’s joking around with you, or proclaiming her disgust for canned cheese, she’s always going to feel like a true member of the family. Between Bambi’s love for humanity, and her leash skills, we have a suspicion that she’ll make an amazing adventure dog! Take this girl to patio cafes, shopping malls and the park- watch her win fans and steal hearts. Bambi is a total toy lover too, she likes to play with a little stuffed Lambchop! Bambi is looking for love and ready to be spoiled! A word to the wise: these bulldog types go fast, so apply today! Bambi could live with other dogs, but she’s so people-loving that we know she would adore being your one and only. We think Bambi would like to live in a house with a yard or residential apartment, as opposed to concrete city living. While we haven’t seen Bambi with kids just yet, we suspect that she would make a great family dog. We are willing to test Bambi with anything you need us to in order to ensure she’s the perfect match for you! We can make most anything happen! Just let us know. Ready to welcome a new furry friend into your life? Apply today! https://adopt.animalsfirst.com/animal/62cc8e128b02916730334440/678ac89b013581f799051555 Questions? You can join along on our private Facebook event page to follow their adventure, connecting you with other adopters and providing updates throughout their transport journey! You will get to meet your new pup over a video call before signing paperwork, creating a fun and personalized adoption experience! The adoption fee is $1200 and includes all vetting (DAPP with booster, Bordetella, Rabies vaccine, multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter, flea prevention, a 12 month heartworm preventative injectible, heartworm test and treatment if needed, a microchip with free lifetime registration, a high quality nylon Martingale collar, a health certificate deeming the pup healthy for travel, cost of transport*, and priceless years of love and loyal companionship! We have over 15,000 successful adoptions so far and have excellent Google Reviews: https://g.co/kgs/UQ5Pyai We care deeply about making the perfect match between dog and family for long term success. Our rescue has a 2 acre property in Texas where we assess every animal with trainers on staff, we modify behavior as needed, and create individualized behavior plans to help prepare dogs for their future families including crate training, potty training, leash walking, etc. Our fosters are able to attend group trainings and socialization play groups to keep dogs adoption-ready. Our on-site trainers support the positive growth of our dogs and we enjoy seeing their progress! Our commitment to comprehensive medical care sets us apart. We've received glowing feedback from veterinarians who commend our dedication to ensuring the health and well-being of every animal in our care with treatments that often go above and beyond. Our adoption fees reflect the extensive care and resources that go into each animal we save. The adoption fee is a donation to the mission and goes far beyond getting a fully vetted pet. The rescue’s hard costs alone for a healthy dog to go through our program typically range between $412 to $859, which includes boarding, food, medications, vaccines, and spay/neuter. For heartworm-positive dogs, hard costs are upwards of $1,120. Additionally, dogs requiring extended boarding, extra training, or extra medical care—such as dental work, vision care, or orthopedic care—can lead to expenses running into the thousands. Also, included in the fee are costs to cover transport up to the Pacific Northwest or East Coast. While adoption fees help cover part of these expenses, we want to emphasize that Three Little Pitties Rescue is not government funded. It doesn’t stop there! Our adopters also receive these SPECIAL PERKS: ● Extensive behavioral testing and information from trainers on our staff to ensure the perfect fit for your family ● Discounts on Embark DNA test kit- $30 off of Breed ID test & $50 off of Breed ID plus Health test ● 30 day trial of pet insurance with Trupanion ● A free private online dog training session with GoodPup, plus low pricing for future sessions ● 70% off of your first order of Fetch, a delicious PNW based fresh dog meatballs subscription ● Coupons for a fun visit to Petco ● 20% off of Dr. Cuddles pet first aid and hygiene solutions ● Discounted heartworm, flea prevention, and monthly dewormer ● Access to our exclusive FB Adopters page, where you can network for play dates, resources, and connect with other adopters that share their passion for their adopted pup! Did you know that the Greater Houston area faces some of the highest stray and overpopulation rates in the nation? We are a non profit charity. Our goal is simple— to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and by rescuing animals from the streets or overcrowded shelters where euthanasia due to lack of space is often the only option. The dog you've found online is not only lucky to be in our program, but also incredibly fortunate to have caught your eye. Thank you for considering adoption and for joining us in our mission! Follow our rescue journey and connect with us on our website and social media platforms. Together, we can make a difference, one adoption at a time. https://www.threelittlepittiesrescue.org/ https://www.facebook.com/threelittlepittiesrescue https://www.instagram.com/threelittlepittiesrescue Ready to welcome a new furry friend into your life? Story
Thanks for doing this This beautiful boy is Barry. He is approx. a year old, neutered and up to date on vaccinations. He has yet to meet a person/dog/cat/child that he doesn’t like. Potty trained, goes in his crate when you leave the house Knows sit, leave it, take it, give me your paw – He’d know more if his mom had invested in some training classes! He is a total love bug, likes to cuddle, comes across as a loveable doofus but there is a smart boy underneath the fluff. The reason for adoption is beyond the owners control and if there was any possible way to keep him, they would.
