WE ARE A TX BASED RESCUE. THIS DOG IS CURRENTLY LOCATED IN TX AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED UPON ADOPTION. Please fill out an adoption application found at haydudeequine.org Douglas - You are the bridge between what was and what will be, my pathway to a new life! Hello all you fablulous folks out there, I'm Douglas! I'm here hoping to adopt me a family...one that I can call all my own and since you're reading this I'm also hoping you'll consider making ME part of yours!! I'm a big ol' softie with a heart of gold at only around 2.5 years old. I'm a large, handsome fella at about 65ish lbs, with a shiny white coat and sleek black markings. My sparkling white teeth give away my youthful energy, and I just can't wait to share it with you! I LOVE people, and I love spending time with them even more. My favorite things in life are going for walks, sniffing out new smells, getting endless belly rubs (or chest and neck rubs - really, anywhere you'll rub, I'll take it!) and my soft bed and blanket. I'm a social butterfly, er, dog, and I get along great with my furry friends. My foster says I'm a gentle giant, and I promise to be on my best behavior (most of the time, anyway!). When I'm not busy being a charming goofball, I enjoy learning new things and pleasing my people. I already know how to sit on command, and I'm working on mastering the art of "no" (it's a tough one, but I'm getting there!). My foster mom says I'm a quick learner, and with some patience and love, I'll be the bestest boy ever! If you're looking for a loyal companion who will make you laugh, smile, and maybe even roll your eyes a little (in a good way, of course!), I'm your guy! Let's find each other and start our forever adventure... together! You can find my adoption application at haydudeequine.org Lots of tail wags and puppy kisses, Douglas💗💗

Story
Animal Profile: Brielle is an estimated 3-year-old 40 lbs spayed female chonky bully breed short stock, maybe a bulldog mix, who was a stray intake to the overcrowded San Bernardino city shelter. She was assessed to be very social and friendly with other dogs of all sizes as well as all people. She will be joining us in foster care and we will share more info as we get to know her. Foster Updates: The word on the street is that Brielle is pure sweetness. This compact little girl is dog and people friendly. We think she is about 3 years old, she displays both puppy and calm couch potato energy typical of the breed. She has been very adaptable to new environments and transitioned like a champ into her foster home. She can get overly excited when she sees dogs on leash so we have been practicing learning leash manners.  This snoring cutie is a bundle of joy and always there to brighten your day. She loves to nap and cuddle and will make someone very happy!  Adoption Information: Adoption fee is $550 which includes neuter, core vaccinations per AVMA standards, recent vet visit and microchip with lifetime registration. Your adoption fee may be tax deductible as Dog Gone Seattle is a 501c3 organization. Apply Online: www.doggoneseattle.org/adoption-application Animal History: Brielle was rescued from SBC city shelter in collaboration with our rescue partner ARF, and arriving to Seattle area foster care on 3/2/25. Story
This big girl was found in the middle of nowhere, it took us 5 days to capture her, as she was afraid. Once in our hands, she understood that nothing was wrong and gave us her trust. She is a big goofy girl, she doesn't measure her strength and is great for a very active person who likes to run around and play ball. Holly deserves lots of love and loves to receive it, we know her looks can be intimidating but she is the cutest and most adorable little girl you will ever meet! She is learning to sit to wait for her food, but she is just too playful and bouncy! Always with lots of energy and love to give. The $550.00 adoption fee covers the following: Transport to Oregon or Washington. Spay/Neuter. All vaccines up to date. Deworming (puppies 2 sets). Flea medication up to date. Meet Ford, a remarkable Bulldog whose presence is as powerful and steadfast as a mighty river. Just like the characteristics of his breed, Ford embodies kindness and courage, showcasing a unique blend of friendliness and dignity. Now you may not see it by looking into his gorgeous brown eyes, but Ford has suffered in his short life.... he came to the rescue from the streets with a HORRIFIC hernia on his back end, near his rectum. He required two surgeries to correct the hernia and allow him to have a normal life again. He came through with SHINING colors ;) With his well-muscled frame and low-slung stature, Ford is the epitome of a true bruiser, but it's his iconic "sourmug" face that represents his unwavering courage and tenacity. Despite his robust appearance, Ford is a docile and loyal companion, adapting seamlessly to any environment, be it the bustling city or the serene countryside. With Ford by your side, you'll experience the unwavering devotion and unmistakable presence of a Bulldog, a breed that leaves an indelible mark on your heart. Don't miss the opportunity to welcome this incredible Bulldog into your life, as Ford's unique spirit will bring joy, love, and an unmistakable charm that only he can deliver. Some basic information about Ford; he is male, a Bulldog mix, and is medium-sized (20-59lbs). Ford is not great with other dogs (or cats or other critters) and would be best in a home with either only adults or older children and as a single dog. But his heart will fill your home with all the love you need!!! Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $400 (includes transport to your area - $50 Temporary Fuel Charge will be added)

Meet Gayle, a 3-year-old female American Bulldog mix with a stunning apricot and white bicolor coat. Gayle is a high-energy pup who loves spending time with people. She's incredibly friendly and cuddly, always eager to share affection. While Gayle enjoys the company of people, she can be selective with other dogs and might need a patient and experienced owner who can help her navigate her interactions. She's a bit anxious and defensive around other dogs, but with slow exposure and gentle guidance, she has the potential to adjust and become more comfortable over time. We suggest a single dog home for Gayle. If you're an experienced dog owner looking for a loving and energetic companion, Gayle could be the perfect addition to your family. With a little time and patience, she's sure to become a loyal and devoted friend. Come meet Gayle and see if you can be the one to provide her with a forever home filled with love and understanding. Story
Animal Profile:  Penny is a 2 yo, 65 lb spayed female English Bulldog mix. She has a tight, clean coat and an adorable underbite. She has guardian-breed tendencies and will need a breed-savvy owner able to provide appropriate leadership. She is loyal to her family and loves to snuggle. She enjoys playing with other dogs but requires a human who can supervise and advocate for appropriate interactions or she is prone to bullying behavior. She is currently being fostered in a home with two other dogs and is crate-trained, house-trained, and has basic obedience training. She will benefit from structure, leadership, and ongoing training. Once acclimated in a home environment, she loves to snuggle and play and has a goofy, loving personality.  Adopter Profile:  Single family residence required Secure fenced yard preferred Large breed experience required Bully breed experience preferred Other balanced dogs, dog-savvy cats, and older children considered on case by case basis Adoption Info: The adoption fee is $550, which includes spay/neuter, core vaccinations per AVMA standards, flea/tick treatment, deworming, and microchip with lifetime registration. Your adoption fee may be tax deductible as DGS is a 501c3 organization. Animal History:  Penny and her siblings were a surprise litter - their mother was adopted from a local family when she was unknowingly pregnant, so he got much more than he bargained for when she had puppies soon after her adoption. Penny was born on 12/09/22; one of the littermates was  DNA tested and so presumably all littermates are  75% English Bulldog, 12.5% German Shepherd, 12.5% Rhodesian Ridgeback. As puppies, these dogs were playful and engaging. Penny was adopted as a puppy to a family who was not prepared for the tendencies of this breed combination. Without any formal training, she developed territorial behaviors in the home and on walks that ultimately led the family to return her to the rescue. She has since been evaluated and fostered in a DGS foster home. She is currently available for adoption to the greater Seattle area.  March 31, 2025, 4:37 pm

Story
Animal Profile: Buddy is an estimated 6-year-old 70 lb male Boxer mix who is social and friendly with people and dogs. He was surrendered to the rescue when his owner passed away and the family worked to find safe placement for him and another dog in the home. Shelters were full. A neighbor was feeding the dogs who were left for weeks with access to a yard thru a dog door. Buddy is grateful to be in foster care now, and has had a recent vet exam. He is in good health and finally neutered. We will share more about him as we get to know him in foster care. Foster Updates:  Buddy is a lovable, calm, low maintenance guy! When he arrived, he was a little chunky and not too active. We're a relatively active family and he's come to love our daily 2-mile walks. He really gets excited to go outside!  He's also starting to run around the backyard a little more now that he's slimmed down a little bit. That said, he's pretty chill and loves to cuddle. He's a solid 70lbs but thinks he's a lap dog. We’d recommend a family with mid-level activity. He's good on short hikes, daily walks, and moderate exercise, but we don't think he'd be a good running partner for hard-core athletes. Buddy is house and crate trained. He loves car rides and is easy to take around in the car. He's content to stay in one place, especially if he has an open window. We think Buddy would be a good fit in a house with a yard or even a condo. He just needs a walk and some love & attention. Adoption Info: Adoption fee is $550 which includes neuter, core vaccinations per AVMA standards, microchip with lifetime registration and a recent health check with a veterinarian. Adoption fee may be tax deductible as Dog Gone Seattle is a 501c3 organization. Animal History: Buddy was picked up as a stray about 4 years ago in eastern WA and lived in a home until recently when his owner passed away. It took about six weeks for the the family to find rescue placement. Buddy is now in foster care in North Bend, and available for adoption in the greater Seattle area. March 26, 2025, 12:42 pm

Dulce is a very friendly and fun-loving gal. She is extremely social with all people and all animals, but she really lights up when there are kids around. She can be a bit too in your face at times.... but she's still young and inquisitive. She is learning boundaries along with tons of other commands since she's a very smart cookie. And even though her videos show her happy, active side she definitely knows how to chill out and cuddle.
