Ruger was rescued as a stray living off whatever he could scavenge, he was emaciated and had horrible skin issues. With lots of love and care his skin issues are gone and he had filled out beautifully. He has the best personality! He’s a lover to everyone he meets, he adores back scratches, belly rubs and following you wherever you go! He’s great with children, we do suggest older children only because he’s a thick boy and doesn’t understand he’s a bigger boy. Ruger gets a long great with other dogs, he loves to play and run, then he’s ready for a cuddle session. Ruger is housebroken, leash and crate trained. Cookie was surrendered to us when her owner could not have more than 2 dogs in the apartment. She is a happy go lucky friendly girl. She is 9 months old this month.( April). She is spayed and completely vetted. She can jump 6-8 ft straight up without a running start so even a fenced yard won't keep her in. We prefer a family that leash walks their dog. She was not properly socialized as a young pup and will need a kind loving patient owner to show her the ropes and how to be a dog. She is finally walking on leash better and will go through a doorway now. We have 12ft high fence in our outdoor runs so we let her run about, but still watch her as she might even try to climb out if left unattended. You must have a current Vet reference from a Vet that knows you. A dog is a 15 year minimum commitment. She is very active and would be great agility dog. She only has half a tail because of "happy-tail" syndrome. Only serious inquiries only over 25 years of age. A good Samaritan found this dog in April and has been fostering him since. She had him looked at by her Vet. They estimate him at 9 - 10 months old. He has a rabies vaccine. Meet our very sweet and petite girl named Puddin! Puddin is about 1 year old, and she came to our shelter after she was found roaming on the side of the turnpike. She is a very friendly puppy who absolutely loves getting attention from people! When Puddin is outside of her kennel in our backyard, she is a silly girl who likes to play with toys. She is not overly energetic and likes to lounge in the sun chewing on a toy. She is food motivated and already knows how to sit and give paw. Puddin gets uncomfortable around other dogs, so we are looking for a home where she can be your only dog. She has tested well with cats. Puddin can go to a home with children 10 years old and older who have dog experience. Puddin will need to be walked on a harness that does not pull on her throat. For some reason when collars pull directly against her throat, it causes her to gag. Otherwise she is a happy girl who likes to be with people!
