Story
Update: Bingo is thriving in his foster home (in CT)! This happy, playful pup adores his canine foster sibling and has a special fondness for children. He would be overjoyed to have a family of his own. Bingo is full of love and is ready to share - he could be the perfect addition to your family! Reach out to learn more! Meet Bingo! 🎉🐾 a 9-month-old Labrador/Pit Bull mix with a heart full of love and a playful spirit! This sweet and social pup adores people, gets along great with other dogs, and is fantastic with children. Whether he’s playing fetch, going belly up for belly rubs, or snuggling up for a cuddle, Bingo is always ready to bring joy to your day. He loves his walks and is always up for an adventure! Bingo is housebroken, crate trained, fully vetted, and ready to find a forever home of his own. Smart and motivated, he thrives on attention, toys, and learning new things. Currently in foster care, Bingo can’t wait to meet his perfect family. If you’re looking for a loving, fun, and affectionate companion, Bingo is your boy! Could you be the one to give Bingo his happily ever after? Reach out today to meet him! 🐶💙 Original plea: We're LOVE-struck! Bingo (M, 53 lbs potential LabXpit) is only 9m old and already has quite a story. His original owner bought him from a breeder even though his live-in girlfriend said she didn't want a dog. He put time and training into Bingo but his relationship struggled. Bingo's owner ended up moving out and said he would come daily to care for Bingo until he found a place for them which he was doing but when he couldn't she would not feed or walk Bingo. She called the shelter and told them that if they didn't accept Bingo she would just leave him in his crate to starve, as she had been doing and she meant it (heartless). Bingo came in underweight and heartbroken, having lost the only Dad (she doesn't get to be recognized as anything but a villain) he had ever known but he kept his spirits up which landed him straight into adoptions, where he was scooped up. One would think happy ending but not just yet. His adopter returned him in just a couple of days because her cat was afraid of him even though he had not done anything, except be a dog in a home with a cat that had never met a dog. Who knows, they may have become the best of friends but he was never given the chance. He's back at the shelter now💔 We met Bingo today, though his head hung low, he wagged his tail and when we came over to him, he gave us the most gentle, sweetest puppy kisses. We couldn't help but take him out for a walk and some play! He is so sweet, social, smart, playful, a mush, a kissy face, wiggle butt, mush! Though he pulled a little on the leash, he checked in regularly with us, was food motivated, knew some basic commands, passed dogs politely, and even went back into his cage (his clean cage) without a complaint, just one last kiss to show his gratitude. Please help us save Bingo, reach out learn more! He's located at a shelter nearby CT, will come fully vetted and we will help transport!

Update: Sundae is in a foster home now embracing all the joys of being a puppy! While she's a bit shy at first, her sweetness shines through - she wants to give and receive love and adores other dogs. More than anything, she's ready for a forever home to call her own, If you'd like to learn more about this lovable girl, reach out! Meet Sundae A Puppy Who Needs a Second Chance Today, we watched as Sundae was surrendered to the shelter by someone who claimed not to know her. But the truth was written all over her face, she had been abandoned by the only life she knew. At just 9 months old and 38 pounds, Sundae was so scared she couldn't even walk, she army-crawled across the floor, trying to make sense of what was happening. One look at her intake photo, taken while she was in medical says it all. Her eyes were filled with confusion and sadness, her little body frozen with fear. She didn't understand why she was there, why the world around her changed so suddenly. But we saw something else in her, too - a quiet hope that someone will come and show her love, patience, and kindness. Despite her fear, there's a gentle soul inside her just waiting for love. Sundae deserves more than the heartbreak she's endured she deserves safety and a family who will never let her down. With patience and love, we know she'll blossom into the happy, trusting pup she was meant to be. Sundae is looking for someone to change her story - to teach her that love is forever and that she'll never be abandoned again. Could that someone be you? Sundae is located nearby CT in an overpopulated shelter, we will help with transport to CT/other nearby areas, and she will come fully vetted, including spayed. Reach out today to learn more!

URGENT UPDATE! Luna and Carmela have lost everything - their home, their family, even their mom. Now they sit confused and scared in a shelter that is breaking their spirits. The stress of the confinement is taking a toll, and they are rapidly deteriorating. They need foster or forever homes NOW before it's too late. The shelter is overcrowded, and their time is running out. They are still just babies, desperate for love, safety, and a second chance. Please don't let their story end here. If you can foster or adopt, you will be saving their lives. Even sharing this post can make a difference. Meet Luna and Carmela - two beautiful, young puppies in urgent need of a home. Luna is a stunning 45-pound blue brindle and Carmela is a gorgeous 44-pound fawn. These sweet, shy girls are just 6 months old and recently lost their home when their family was evited (their Mom was rehomed by the owner). Now, they find themselves in an overcrowded inner-city shelter, confined to pop-up crates in hallways due to limited space. Luna and Carmela desperately need a forever or foster home (can be separated). They will come fully vetted, including spayed, and we can help arrange transport to CT and nearby areas. If you can open your heart and home to these two deserving pups, please reach out as soon as possible. They don't have much time, and your help could mean the world to them!

Quinn was found dumped along with another female & a male, along with 12 puppies between the 2 moms. She came into foster care and cared for her nursing babies and they all went on to start their new lives. Now its moms turn. She is full of energy, knows some commands and does well on leash.Does have a problem keeping her feet on the ground. Not a problem riding in the car or getting into a crate. Quinn is spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccinations, and current on flea/tick and heartworm preventative. All dogs 6 month + receive a Proheart 6 injection at the time of their heartworm test. Story
Panda or puppy?? That is the question! We vote for puppy but definitely cute as a panda bear. This little cutie patootie is waiting for you at our adoption center in Southbury. She's very snuggly and will be a fun addition to any loving home. She enjoys playing with puppy friends and loves all the nice humans that she meets. Apply to adopt Rio today at www.cprdogs.com!! This puppy Is spayed/neutered, up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations, treated for all of the intestinal parasites, and current on flea/tick and heartworm preventative. Because intestinal parasites are cyclical, your puppy may need additional treatment once you get him/her home. This is common and nothing to be alarmed about. Puppies and dogs need to be treated periodically for parasites throughout their entire lives. Visit our website to see our weekend Events here! Pups with the designated “meet me” next to their names are in CT and ready to attend adoption events. Please check with your adoption coordinator if you are interested in a specific dog prior to coming to an event, as a dog's availability to attend can change at any time. The adoption fee is $600 which includes spay/neuter, up to date vaccinations, flea/tick and heartworm preventatives, and the mandatory CT HB 5368 fee. More and more of our adopters are having fun with DNA tests on their pups. You might ask yourself why our breed guess is varying degrees of difference from the DNA tests. Most of our puppies are rescued from high kill shelters or other abandonment situations and we have no info on parents. When we rescue puppies that have no background info, we make our very best educated guess as to breed mix and age. Our guesstimate comes from years and years and years of animal welfare work and training, but our guesses won't always agree with your vet, your neighbor, your DNA test, etc. The most important thing to know about your puppy's breed mix is that most likely he/she is a Super Lovable Mutt made of many many many different breeds. If you are a MA resident, your new family member is required to go through a mandatory 48 hour quarantine period at the Woburn MA isolation facility. Story
If interested in giving this sweet, shy, attention-seeking, dog-friendly handsome mix, Goofy a forever or foster home please reach out soon! https://www.facebook.com/reel/1889230858280753 A volunteer writes: With a name like Goofy, you might expect a different personality. But Goofy is equal parts nervous and precious. He looks like a 60lb Frenchie, and while he's tucked his ears away shyly for most of our time together, when they appear I practically melt. Goofy trembles in my arms for most of our time together. If I move an inch away, he scoots forward back into my arms. Once or twice he becomes brave and puts his paw over my arm to request more affection, but mostly he is timid. He listens to the barking dogs with his big ears and looks curiously out to the street at the passing people. We always hate returning dogs to their kennels, but I especially hated bringing Goofy back. Goofy was brought to a police precinct and left by an anonymous person. He crouched and flinched during intake when being leashed and responded to baby talk. He was bouncy and loose meeting another dog at the shelter.
