Original plea: We're LOVE-struck! Bingo (M, 53 lbs potential LabXpit) is only 9m old and already has quite a story. His original owner bought him from a breeder even though his live-in girlfriend said she didn't want a dog. He put time and training into Bingo but his relationship struggled. Bingo's owner ended up moving out and said he would come daily to care for Bingo until he found a place for them which he was doing but when he couldn't she would not feed or walk Bingo. She called the shelter and told them that if they didn't accept Bingo she would just leave him in his crate to starve, as she had been doing and she meant it (heartless). Bingo came in underweight and heartbroken, having lost the only Dad (she doesn't get to be recognized as anything but a villain) he had ever known but he kept his spirits up which landed him straight into adoptions, where he was scooped up. One would think happy ending but not just yet. His adopter returned him in just a couple of days because her cat was afraid of him even though he had not done anything, except be a dog in a home with a cat that had never met a dog. Who knows, they may have become the best of friends but he was never given the chance. He's back at the shelter now💔 We met Bingo today, though his head hung low, he wagged his tail and when we came over to him, he gave us the most gentle, sweetest puppy kisses. We couldn't help but take him out for a walk and some play! He is so sweet, social, smart, playful, a mush, a kissy face, wiggle butt, mush! Though he pulled a little on the leash, he checked in regularly with us, was food motivated, knew some basic commands, passed dogs politely, and even went back into his cage (his clean cage) without a complaint, just one last kiss to show his gratitude. Please help us save Bingo, reach out learn more! He's located at a shelter nearby CT, will come fully vetted and we will help transport!
