Story
Seraphina is a 2 year old female Pit mix, who has a gorgeous brindle coat that shines in the sun. She has a unique brindle color with silver highlights instead of gold, which helps her stand out. Seraphina is fairly laid back and very well-mannered, plus also good on a leash. This makes it easy to take her anywhere, whether it’s a leash walk through the neighborhood, lunch out with friends, or a vacation road trip. Seraphina may have outgrown her puppy energy, but she still enjoys short runs and some cute playfulness once she is in the park. And her expressive ears are a great indicator for what she finds interesting. Most of the time, though, she likes to stay close to wherever you are, which shows what a wonderful companion Seraphina will make. Now all she needs is the person(s) who will take her home, and give her a lifetime of good memories together. Be sure to meet Seraphina soon! Story
Cooper is a 9 month male Pit mix, who is as sweet as he is handsome! He is currently living with his four sisters, and is ready to start a new chapter in life with a family all his own. While he enjoys the company of his sisters, Cooper is eager to experience the world outside of their pen, where he can bond with his new people. When he’s with his siblings, Cooper is confident and often takes on the role of the pack leader. He’s friendly and always ready to greet people who stop by his pen, showing off his engaging personality. But outside of that familiar environment, he can be very shy and uncertain at first, which is perfectly normal for a young dog. Soft treats and kind words go a long way in helping him feel comfortable, and once he does, Cooper is the kind of dog who loves BIG. Once he warms up, he will show you just how sweet and lovable he can be. Cooper is very treat-motivated and eager to please, making him a fast learner when it comes to training. That means he will quickly adapt and then thrive in his new home, as he receives loving guidance from his family. Cooper is just waiting for the right family to come along, and give him the safe, loving home he’s been dreaming of. And in return, he will be the loyal companion you’ve been searching for! The adoption fee covers the following: spay or neuter surgery; one-year rabies vaccine; feline or canine distemper vaccine; heartworm test (dogs) or combo (fiv/felv) test (cats); deworming; and microchip.Carroll County Animal Shelter is located at 251 Automation Drive in Carrollton GA. And she would love to learn more in her new home! Kess also loves being with people and going on walks together… in fact, she practically prances while out on leash walks. Story
Rachel is a 9 month female Pit mix, who is so lovable! She is currently living with her four siblings - just look for the smaller female with cute spots on her forearms to identify Rachel. She is one of the shyer pups, but that shyness just makes her more precious, especially once she warms up to show her sweet gentle nature. Once she knows you, Rachel has an endearing way of staying close. And she loves affection, especially belly rubs! It’s so special to be able to share “firsts” with Rachel … her first time away from her siblings, her first belly rub, her first toy, and so many other simple joys that mean the world to her. Of course, the “first” that she hopes for the most is her first forever home, filled with people who will continue to create cherished memories with her. So please meet Rachel soon, and give this special pup a lifetime of love! Story
Little miss Nova here is a very sweet girl. She isn't sure about coming up to you, but always accepts love when you come to her! She is a little picky when it comes to her food. When she first came here, she would only eat canned food. We have gotten her to eat some dry kibble, but every so often, she decides she is a princess and demands the princess treatment! Speaking of princess treatment, she informed us she would love to be treated like a princess and promises to be a faithful passenger princess! All she requests is a nice comfy bed in her seat and she's good to go!

Story
We rescued her from a lady who had gotten divorced and Roxi was left with the ex husband due to her not being able to take her. She stated that if she went to shelter again she would be euthanized. We decided to do what we could with her. At first she didn’t like the female pets we already had, slowly they got used to each other. She still doesn’t care for our smaller females and chases cats. She is very rambunctious and energetic. Loves kids( we have a one year old) no issues there. She is a lover and wants to be a lap dog (which she thinks she is small enough to do). Does have a problem sometimes getting off the bed and limbs. Not sure why, maybe arthritis. Also more problematic is that she doesn’t realize that she pees when sleeping or just resting. ( I truly believe it isn’t intentional. We don’t know much more than that but we were told she is approximately five years old , she looks like boxer/ pit mixed and she is spayed. additionally she does sit when directed,

So we took her in got her on a feeding schedule and within a week she was already goofing around like she wasn't malnourished at all. Within two weeks she looked like a whole new dog. Now she is healthy and ready to find her forever home. Jenny is housebroken, leash trained, and she knows basic commands. She loves to play with all toys. She is good with other dogs it just takes her a little bit to warm up to them. She is also great with kids the more they play the more she loves it.
