Story

We adopted Terra as a baby from Great Plains SPCA in Mission, KS one year ago. She is bright, eager to please, loves to play- especially with other dogs!- and is a great companion for adults. She knows sit, shake/other one (she can shake with both paws), wait/stay, and down. We are working on heel, place, and general good manners- but she is still young, and you'll have to keep that in mind as she is still quite energetic. We are looking for a home without children for Terra, with adopters who are active and preferably have a yard for her to play in. She really is an outstanding dog and it breaks our hearts to have to part with her, but we believe that a home without children is best for her. We will include everything we have for her- her crate, her beds, her harnesses, food/water dish, food, etc. We only ask that you bring your own leash, as hers was passed down from the dog we had before who we lost at the age of 14.

Max is a big boy with a huge heart! He's best described as a super cuddly couch potato. He does great in his kennel and stays very quiet and clean. He has not been around children before, so we're unsure what he would think of them. He was very interested in the resident cats while on furlough and seemed to want to play, but he did not get the opportunity to interact with them. He can be mildly dominant around new dogs, but he quickly calms down and becomes very dorky and playful.
