Maui truly is a loving dog. He is caring, loyal and loves a good cuddle. Unfortunately his Achilles heel is anxiety and other dogs. He is very reactive to dogs. A hearty donation will be given to a dog shelter of your choice if you choose to adopt Maui. He deserves the best life and we can not give him what he deserves. In addition to the donation to a dog shelter, we will include all his doggie equipment and a gift card to Petco for you to buy him new toys and food.

Story

Our dogs aren't getting along so we have to keep them separate at all times, and we feel that they deserve to be in single-dog homes. One has severe anxiety and is reactive, so we feel that it wouldn't be possible to find a good home for him, but the other (Kala) is the perfect dog for just about anyone who doesn't already have a dog. Shes 5 years old without health problems, shes lazy, crate trained, doesn’t bark, shes amazing with kids (shes been with my 2.5 year old and 11 month old since they were born), loves strangers, car rides, traveling, even loves the vet. Obedience and leash walking is probably a bit rusty, but shes VERY treat motivated and easy to work with because shes had extensive training in the past. If anyone is looking for a rescue, please reach out to come meet her to fall in love like we have. The past 4 years with her have been amazing and we are absolutely heartbroken.
