My adoption fee has been fully sponsored. Adopt me and pay $0.00!!!Rocky is a very friendly dog and excellent running/walking partner! He will be a great addition to the right family! He has done well around other dogs, patience is key when it comes to helping any dog adjust to a new home. OCAS recommends slow, monitored introductions to any pets in a new home. Please visit this page for more information about introducing pets.Rocky loves people but he has not always done well around small children, so a home with no children or a home with older children would likely be the best for him. He will make a great companion, he just needs a chance and some kind humans to help him settle in!

My adoption fee has been fully sponsored. Adopt me and pay $0.00!!!Hi there! My name is Deuce. I am a medium-sized, strong and curious fella looking for a furever home. I enjoy being outside, eating yummy treats and learning new things. Volunteers say I am a great running friend and stick pretty consitant to the path! I do quite well on leash and I am food motivated, so that will help with any training needed. I am a good boy and eager to learn. I`m also a good boy on car rides! I love a good chew toy. If I am enjoying outdoor time off leash, I`ll need a secure enclosure because I have been known to escape. I was unable to stay in my previous home due to me not doing well around the children - so I would do best in a home with no small children, or a home with older children that understand how to respect my boundaries. I have shown some food possessive tendencies that will need to be managed in a home during feeding time. I have done well around other dogs during field trips away from the shelter, but I will still need slow, monitored introductions to any other pets in a home to make sure everyone stays safe. OCAS can provide great recommendations on making those introductions! I love treats and would appreciate training to help me build my confidence :) Please ask staff if you have any questions about me. Like any dog in a new home, I`ll need people to be patient with me and help me to adjust. I am a good boy and I deserve a loving home that will spoil me.

Story
Hi there! My name is Donald and I am a young, playful and smart fella looking for a furever home. I enjoy playing outside, getting new toys and eating yummy treats. I sometimes steal my brothers food so I do best being fed in a separate area. When I came to the shelter with my brother Steve, I was underweight but after some time in a foster home I am growing to be a healthy and happy fella. I hope to meet you soon and become your best bud :) Please ask staff if you have any more questions about me.I am currently available in my foster home. If you are interested in meeting with me, please fill out an interest form https://airtable.com/shrWv1TWfsw834pBdDonald`s foster family has provided these wonderful insights about him:`Donald Duck is an energetic boy who likes to play with other dogs and people.he loves to cuddle with people and dogs. He enjoys his inside crate and his outside doghouse, that he considers his palace and where he hides his treasures. He likes all kinds of toys, and he spends hours with his kong.He is almost potty trained, knows how to sit before he can come in, have his bowl or have a treat. He thinks that Franklin Street is his oyster, he can be outside of restaurants and enjoys when people come to say hello.`Donald has participated in an OCAS adoption event and played well with other shelter dogs in a monitored setting, and he interacted well with the public. We recommend slow, monitored introductions to any pets or people in a new home. Please visit this page for more information about introducing pets.

Story
Hi there! My name is Benny Boy. I am a large-sized, well-mannered fella looking for a furever home. Not much is know about me since I came to the shelter. Staff has noted that while here, I have been friendly towards new people, appear to be housetrained, and have done with with medical exams. Staff still recommends slow and monitored introductions to any new people and animals in the home. I can`t wait to meet you!INSIGHTS FROM MY DOG DAY OUT SLEEPOVER:`Benny Boy came over for a sleepover and he was a very good boy. He was respectful in the home. No jumping, counter surfing or trying to take food. I actually ate near him several times and he just laid next to me without even begging. He can be a little particular about treats, mostly preferring chicken and other meat treats. He can hold a sit and be patient. We took him on several walks. He is quite strong and does pull at times, but after the first walk he did start to calm down and pull less. He is kinda funny when riding in the car. He likes to sit or stand on the floor and look backwards instead of forwards. He did do well when meeting my dog, picking up on her cues when she didn’t want to play anymore. He really likes hugs and cuddles. He found a whale toy that he played with for hours. He had some difficulty with resting in the crate at night, so that will need some work, but he’s very smart, highly motivated and trainable. Benny is a big sweetheart and anyone will realize that when meeting him for the first time.`

My name is Mouse and I came to the shelter with another dog who I seemed to get along great with. I am a super happy guy and would love to go home with you today! I recently had a mast cell tumor removed from my left hip. The pathology report came back great. My mast cell tumor was a grade II, the vet here is amazing and was able to remove all of the mast cell tumor. If you have any questions about me please ask to speak with staff. My pathology report is also available for you at the front desk. INSIGHTS FROM MY ADVENTURE BUDDY:`I made the best decision when I decided to spend my Saturday with Mouse. We took several nice walks and he took advantage of the high creek water levels to swim. He hung out with my dog and they got along great, which says a lot, since she’s very particular about the company she keeps. He loves to play with toys and wriggle around on the couch. He’s goofy and playful. He’s very attentive on walks, frequently looking back to check in. He’s completely non-reactive to people and other dogs on walks and is very treat motivated. This is a very well mannered guy who’s fully ready to transition out of shelter life and into home life today!`
