Story
MEET DREXIE!!! Miss Drexie is a (DOB 06/08/20) beautiful female PiPei (Pit Bull/Shar-Pei mix). She is just as sweet as she looks. She loves other dogs. Unknown with cats. Would do best with older children because she is still learning her manners. It was determined that the bow in her front legs was (most likely) intentional as she did have bilateral broken bones that have healed. She had had a few litters in her short little life. Drexie was rescued from a hoarding case in Dayton where she only knew life on a logging chain. Better days since then and better life ahead of her. Our girl is now fully Vetted and looking for her furever home.

Story
Without even knowing, naming Honey BooBoo took on a whole new meaning. Not only can a name connect each of us to our own identity and individuality, but it can also carry power and blessings. You will never find a sweeter girl than Honey BooBoo. Honey BooBoo came into the rescue in December of '22, completely pregnant and in very poor health. She had eight gorgeous babies (one didn't survive) on Christmas Eve eve. All of her babies have long ago been adopted but this, the sweetest girl on the planet, is still awaiting her furever. HBB is fully vetted, she adores other dogs and loves all people. She does need to practice her manners a little with not pulling on the leash and not to be all up in your business but she just wants to be close to her (any human) for lots and lots of love. Honey BooBoo is a bit too cat curious but otherwise, the best girl in all the land!! Please help us find Honey BooBoo her own person whether it is you or someone you know.

Story
Who is going to step up for this special boy and change his world? You know, Sherman is cute as a bug but he is not the easiest dog to foster. Not what you were expecting to hear? Well, hear me out- Sherman deserves better. And I believe that a better life for him starts with honesty. He's been let down before and I refuse to let him down again. He was found as a stray. Whether he was dumped or just not secured well in his yard, we don't know. What we do know is that he was failed. Somebody brought home this adorable cuteness of a puppy and we can only assume, grew tired of him. They didn't even try to teach him how to be a good dog (that doesn't happen magically, BTW), no manners, no "tricks". I guess he was supposed to figure it out for himself and when he didn't, well, that's where we come in. He is a beautiful bundle of boundless energy. He loves to play ball and is learning to "release" so the play can go on. He is learning to "come" so the ball can get thrown over and over. He is learning "sit" as he has to "sit" and "release" before foster mom will throw the ball again. He is wary of strangers- can you blame him??? He does fine with slow intros. He likes other dogs but is very dominant so any dog buddies would need to be willing to put up with his shenanigans. We are recommending a home with teenage children and up due to his size and level of energy as well dog awareness. His ideal home would be with an active person looking for a forever loyal friend. Someone that will take him on hikes and throw that ball over and over and over. He needs someone committed to training him to help him be his best self. So, no. Sherman is not the easiest dog to foster and he won't be the easiest dog to find that perfect home for. But I don't care. Because I will keep loving on him until that perfect someone comes forward. Please help share Sherman's story!

Story
My teenage kids picked this lovable boy up when he ran across the road. He climbed right in the car very sweet boy. Is fixed sicsa could not locate his owner appears as though he was feed well but not an inside dog. Whoever had him did not care for him like a dog needs. He's been dewormed and washed thoroughly as he was covered in fleas. Hes missing some hair we have been putting moisturizer on to help regrow his hair. Super chill boy mostly gets along with our pit she loves the bigger dog to play with. He loves to chill and snuggles with my teen. He needs a good home where he wont be left outside.

Story
Hi, my name is Jaxx & I am looking for my forever family! The most important thing to know about me is that I love my foster mom. I know that it’s my job to keep her safe & she loves to hike with me!! I weigh 90 lbs but I am dainty on a leash. I see & hear everything & no one sneaks up on me!! I make my mom feel really safe. I love car rides, long naps on the couch & I am cool in a crate but I would prefer to nap on the couch all day!!  I am a big boy & I look intimidating ( I have serious resting bitch face) but I’m kind of a big chicken. New people make me nervous so I need a little bit of time to make friends!  I have lived with both dogs & cats in the past & i got along with some but not others.  I’m cool with other dogs on the trails because I know that I’m supposed to focus on my mom! I have a foster dad too. He’s cool. He gives good treats but I LOVE my mom ( & she says it’s adorable!!)  Do you need a big, beefy guy to make you feel safe?? I promise you won’t regret falling in love with me because I will love you back with my whole heart!!  ~ Love, Jaxx All of our dogs are spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, microchipped and if over 6 months of age, heartworm tested and on heartworm preventative in their foster home. We require an approved application to meet any of our dogs. We do not have a shelter location and will not arrange a meeting without an approved application. We strive to make sure the bios provided for our dogs are complete and accurate; we do understand that mistakes happen, however, so if you absolutely cannot find the answer to your question in the dog's bio, you can contact us for more information. We require a home visit for each dog we adopt out, so we adopt within a 2 hour radius of Dayton, OH. If you are outside of this radius, we encourage you to contact your local rescue or shelter.   February 16, 2025, 8:18 am

Story
I am rehoming Sadie for a friend of mine who just wasn’t able to keep up with her needs. She has been kept up in a bedroom for majority of her life and was severely malnourished when I discovered her. She longs for company and to be able to freely run outside, so a fenced in backyard is preferred. She is the sweetest dog ever and will try her hardest to not let you down. She just wants affection. She has the best “SIT” I’ve ever seen and I wish I could take her myself but I already have 2 dogs and am relocating soon. Because Sadie was underfed for so long, her stomach is sensitive and has to go quite often. But she will always let you know she has to go, and is very sad and ashamed when she can’t hold it. Which isn’t her fault, but she has been treated as so. I’m not sure if her exact age and breed, but am sure she is a loving and sweet girl with a hysterical personality that deserves lots of space and attention
