Story
Meet Marley, the ultimate chilled-out, easy-going dog who's ready to bring some peace and love into your life. This 4-year-old mixed breed boy is a big ol' bundle of love and fun, who gets along with everyone he meets. He's the best of friends with humans, and loves nothing more than snuggling up for some quality lap time. At 65 pounds, Marley is a big boy, but most of that weight is in his head - which just happens to bobble adorably when he's excited. But don't let the goofy exterior fool you - Marley is one smart cookie. He's already learned some basic commands, and he's a quick learner when it comes to picking up new routines. He's also crate-trained and has excellent house manners, making him a perfect fit for any home. Marley is a medium-energy dog who loves to play, but he's also happy to relax and soak up some affection. He's adjusting well to his foster home, but would love a forever family who can give him plenty of love, patience, and guidance as he continues to learn the ropes of living in a house. Marley's perfect home would be one in which he is the only pet. With Marley by your side, you'll have a loyal companion who will bring you endless joy and happiness. So if you're ready to feel the love and get jammin' with your new best friend, then Marley is the dog for you! Marley's adoption fee is $275. To adopt this pet, please visit https://www.louieslegacy.org/adopt All of our animals come spayed or neutered, fully up to date on vaccinations, including rabies (if age appropriate) and Bordetella, are microchipped, heartworm negative, current on flea/tick and heartworm prevention, dewormed, and treated for any ailments found upon veterinary examination. The adoption fee covers a portion of these services, and makes it possible for us to continue rescuing animals. For more information on the adoption fees and the adoption process, please complete our adoption application here: https://www.louieslegacy.org/adopt - an application allows us to get to know your family better so we can assess whether the animal you are interested in is a good match for your home. An application does not obligate you to adopt. Please understand that due to the volume of applications some animals receive, we are unable to contact all applicants. If your application is considered a good fit for the animal you are interested in, or even a different pet, a volunteer will give you a call as soon as possible. We are a foster based rescue and do not have a shelter location where animals can be seen during the week. Please see our Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/LouiesLegacy for our weekly adoption album if you are interested in meeting an animal in person. Not all animals attend every adoption event, please check our Facebook page for animal event times and locations before you make a trip to meet a specific animal.

Meet Chewy! Chewy is a 3 year old, 70-lb Pitbull Mix who loves to play and give kisses. His superpowers include tug-of-war, getting the zoomies, and saying hi to everyone he meets! He is still unsure about how to play with other dogs, but really wants to figure it out! In terms of house training, Chewy is very good about not having accidents in his kennel and will likely adjust to a new potty routine quickly. Some of his favorite things are rope toys, getting belly rubs, and treats! If you're looking for a new hiking buddy who will greet you with full body kisses every time you walk in the door, he might be your perfect match. Story
Hi! My name is Scarecrow, and I am the bestest puppy (and absolutely adorable)... Just ask me! I get along great with children (of all ages), dogs and cats! I love being outside and playing with my foster family. I love being close to my people! I have great house manners and have worked very hard to become potty/house trained. (Regular potty breaks are the best!) I am a fast learner! (When I am told to go "potty"... I go!) I am also crate trained! I love chewing on bones, riding in the car, going for walks and getting treats... I am very food motivated! I do not get into anything I am not supposed to and only chew on my bones. Apply to meet me today, I promise you won't be disappointed!

Story
This beautiful girl was heading for the pound so we took her in and have temporary custody while looking for a furever family for Gwendolyn. We’ve had her spayed, microchipped, and caught up on all vaccines. She is heart worm negative and on prevention. She is HOUSEBROKEN! She is doing well working on crate training. She does well with other large dogs but she plays a little too enthusiastically for small dogs. She does not like our cat! She would do best in an adult only home, but she has done well with our thirteen-year-old. She is skittish around small kids. She gets a little nervous and barks at strangers but seems to warm up pretty quickly. She knows a couple basic commands. She loves car rides! She still pulls when on a leash but she's a smart cookie and is learning manners quickly. She is absolutely beautiful (pictures do not do her justice) and she has the most adorable personality!
