Meet Bella! Bella is a shy type of girl. We have noticed she likes chews toys like Kongs filled with peanut butter that keep her busy for hours. She would do best in a home with children ages 10+ years old. While she likes to play with other dogs, she does not like to share her house with them and would need to go to a home without other dogs or cats. She came from a home where they were working on crate training her. She will go into her crate when there are loud sounds of any kind that make her nervous. So she isn`t really a party girl, but she is sweet and loves to be held for cuddles. She was house broken when she came to us, but would need a refresher due to being in a shelter setting. If Bella seems like your kind of dog, come to the SPCA to meet her.

Meet Rosie! She is a super sweet girl with a ton of energy! While we are not sure how she would do with cats, we do know she does well with children. She also does well with other dogs but is food reactive towards them and would need to be fed separately from any other dogs in the home. Rosie loves to be outside and would make a great hiking or adventure buddy. She does know a few commands such as sit and wait, but would greatly benefit from ongoing training and enrichment. Hi! My name is Bootsie. I have been at the shelter for WAY too long searching for the perfect forever family. I recently came back from foster care where I was able to decompress and take a break from the kennel environment. While in foster care, my foster parent said I was a very good boy! Overall, I am pretty good on the leash but can pull when excited. However, with some training and refreshers, I know I can be the perfect walker. My favorite thing to do on walks is sniff, the world has so many smells and I need to sniff them all. I am a great car rider, especially if I can look out a window. I am a mostly quiet dog but have been known to do the occasional whining when in a crate or wanting something. My foster home also described me as friendly, affectionate, and a couch potato! I am housebroken and did not have an accident while in foster care. The staff at the shelter recommends crating me when left alone, however, I may need your help learning how to like my crate. Ask my friends at the shelter how they recommend going about that. I really love snuggles and staying close to my person, I even sound like a pig at times! What is there not to love about me? I would do best in a home with no small children. I am not sure how I would do around other dogs in the home, so if you have resident pups, please bring them to the shelter to meet me!
