Holly is a cute, affectionate and active young dog, look at those ears ! She doesn't miss anything. She loves people, but should ideally only live with adults and older children due to her activity level. She is dog selective in a defensive way, she becomes uneasy when an unknown dog approaches. Her new owner(s) would ideally be experienced with bully breed dogs. She is very active and will need an owner(s) who can give her enough exercise to wear her out, like a runner !! She needs a securely fenced yard with a 6 ft privacy fence, as she likes to leap and jump in her play. She is about 4 yrs old and 35 lbs, a great snuggle size; she's also good on a leash. She's been fully vetted, including spay, vaccines and deworming. She's very playful and loves her toys including old buckets, balls, kongs, antlers, beef bones and anything that can be thrown or she can kick around. Mickey was surrendered to the shelter because his former owners could not afford his health care. He has been in an amazing foster home since March. According to his foster mom, he has been warming up right away with new visitors, and absolutely loves people! Once he feels comfortable, he bonds quickly! He is also house trained, crate trained, walks well on a leash, and has learned some basic obedience as well as a few tricks with ease! Mickey is also a dog that wants to engage and loves treats which has made him easy to train. Mickey has done well around his foster family's dog as well as other neighborhood dogs.
