Story
Sammi is a 3 year old fun loving pittie mix. With 1.5-2 hrs of exercise/mental enrichment/play a day she'll snuggle right up with you. She loves doggie friends, especially the carefree playful types. She's also pretty good at matching energy with more laid-back dogs. Sammi is always up for activities. She loves trick training and is very food motivated. Obstacle courses are super fun; jumping, perching, crawling, and weaving. Flirt pole is her favorite. Sammi has had a significant amount of training and would do best with an experienced dog person who is willing and able to maintain. One ongoing focus is meeting new people, specifically men. She also struggles moderately with being alone for an entire workday but is kennel trained. She would do best with someone who works from home, able to provide her a midday break, and/or doggy daycare. Her current trainer is willing to offer support during meeting, transition, and beyond. Sammi is spayed and current on all vaccines.

***** Bronx has been at the shelter longer than we would like so he is a member of our Lonely Hearts Club and his adoption fee has been reduced to $300. *****Hey there! I’m Bronx, a one-year-old brown dog with a ton of energy and a love for all things exercise. If there’s running, playing, or anything that involves burning energy, count me in! I’m excited to find a home where I can get plenty of action and fun activities to keep me busy and happy. I wouldn`t be a good fit with young kids, cats, or small critters—I can’t help but get a little too excited around them, and I need someone who matches my energy better! Are you looking for a fun pup who is ready to go on adventures with you? Then, we can settle down on the couch and watch our favorite show together!I recently went on a little adventure with a friend from the shelter, and they learned lots about me then! They learned that I love bird watching and was fascinated by the variety around me (I especially loved the cranes I saw!). I was a little nervous about the car at first, but I was very calm in the car and even ended up falling asleep on the ride back to the shelter. I did really well with meeting other people on my walk, I was all wiggles and tail wags when getting pets! I really loved being outside and feeling the breeze in my fur, and of course there were lots of good smells around me. I had a great time, and my friend who took me out had nothing but positive things to say about me! If I sound like I could be the dog for you, then come visit me in the shelter! I can`t wait to meet you! My adoption also includes a scholarship to a four week training program called GoodPup, so be sure to ask about that when you meet me! Medical: I appear to be a generally healthy dog, but its best to take me to my new vet soon so we can get to know each other!Weight: ~64 lbsAdoption Fee: $300 + TaxIf you`d like to meet me, click the `Learn About the Adoption Process` button below to plan a visit to the shelter!

***** Bessie has been at the shelter longer than we would like so she is a member of our Lonely Hearts Club and her adoption fee has been reduced to $300. *****Hi there folks, I`m Bessie, the sweetest cow looking dog you`ll meet east of the Mississippi. I was found outside and brought in by some lovely folks, but now I`m ready to meet my new family! I`m as friendly and happy-go-lucky as anyone, with an excitement for life. I love stuffies, squeaky toys, and chasing a tennis ball! We can have so much fun together! I have lots of energy to give, and would greatly benefit from a family who will do positive reinforcement training with me to help learn good doggy manners. Because I can get excited from time to time, I`ll need to go to a home without any small kids who I could accidentally knock over in my exuberance. I`ve met some dogs around the shelter but I`m not sure what to make of them yet, so would benefit from slow and positive introductions to any dogs in her future home. I`m really looking for a family who will keep me happy and active, and someone that will share my passion for life! If I sound like a good match, come visit the shelter to meet me today. I`m staying in a quieter part of the shelter, so please be sure to ask about me at the Adoption Center. Medical History: Bessie appears to be a healthy adult dog at this time, but it`s always a good idea to get her into a vet soon after adoption so she can meet her new doctor!Weight: 61.2 lbsAdoption Fee: $300 + TaxIf you`d like to meet me, click the `Learn About the Adoption Process` button below to plan a visit to the shelter!

Story
Hey there! I’m Toby, and while I might not be handing out HR advice like Toby Flenderson from The Office, I’ve got a great heart! I might be a bit cautious in new situations, just like Toby was when he had to deal with the madness of Dunder Mifflin, but with a little patience and understanding, I’ll become your loyal and affectionate buddy. While I might have a bit of a nervous streak, I’m always willing to work through it for the right person. So, if you’re looking for a dog who might be a little under the radar at first but turns out to be an awesome, loyal companion (who’s maybe even a little bit of an underdog), I think we’ll be a perfect match! If you want a friend who’s ready to quietly adore you and be your Toby, I’m ready to find my forever home. I may not have a World’s Best Boss mug, but I can promise you a lifetime of love!Medical History: Toby is a physically healthy dog, but still should meet with their vet as soon as they can, so they can get a clean bill of health. Weight: ~51.6 lbsAdoption Fee: $375 + taxRestrictions: Would be best as the only dog in home. No small kids due to fear and arousal. If you`d like to meet me, click the `Learn About the Adoption Process` button below to plan a visit to the shelter!

Story
Julien is an absolute dreamboat! Not only is he a slam-dunk in the looks department, he's mastered the "puppy eyes"; and just sucks you in with one look. Julien is sweet as can be, just melting in your hands and showering you with kisses. This kid is a master snuggler, and his tail never stops wagging. Although Julien does totally fine with other dogs when a barrier such as a fence or kennel door is involved, he would prefer not to share your attention and be the only dog in his forever home. Julien came to us with many scars on his face and legs, so we're assuming he may have been attacked in the past and understandably feels a bit nervous around other dogs. Julien has spent some time in our staff offices, as he's a favorite around the shelter. He loves to help with office duties and make sure everyone stays on task. After a few minutes of exploring, Julien settles in and lays on his bed all stretched relaxing. Julien is one fantastic pup, that's for sure! All of our animals are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up to date on age appropriate vaccines. Story
Fiyero is a sweet and charming male pit bull on a quest to find his forever home. With his adorable face and loving personality, he is sure to steal your heart the moment you meet him! Fiyero is full of energy and loves to play, especially fetch. Whether he's running around having fun or cuddling up with his favorite humans for quiet moments, he’s always eager to show affection. His playful spirit and gentle demeanor make him the perfect companion for someone looking for a loyal friend. While Fiyero is an all-around loving dog, he does need slow introductions to other animals. Unfortunately, he hasn't always had the patience and time he deserves in previous environments, and because of that, he may need a bit of extra care when meeting other pets. With proper introductions and patience, Fiyero may flourish and build positive relationships with other animals. He loves being the center of attention and will be your most devoted companion, offering unconditional love and joy. If you’re looking for a sweet, playful dog with a heart of gold, Fiyero may just be the perfect fit for you! Come meet him today and let him show you just how wonderful life can be with him by your side. All of our dogs are dewormed, spayed/neutered, microchipped, up to date on age appropriate vaccines, and heartworm tested if they are old enough.
