Comet-male-neutered-1 year-63 pounds. Meet Comet! This handsome boy came to CCHS as a stray and remained unclaimed. First thing we noticed is how well this boy sports his tuxedo! His coloring is a perfect balance between his black coloring and white coloring. He`s quite stunning in person! Comet is a friendly dog who loves people. When he meets a new dog, all he wants to do is play. This boy is smart and loves to learn. Comet is young, athletic and enthusiastic and truly enjoys whatever he is doing with you. ***** Peanut has been with us longer than we would like so she is a member of our Lonely Hearts Club and her adoption fee has been reduced to $325. *****The peanut is also known as the groundnut, goober or goober pea. Thank goodness this is a dog and not a goober pea, although, goober pea would be a great description for her scrumdiddlyumptious snout. Peanut is great dog that can be forward and a bit pushy with other dogs, so it would be best if she was the only dog in her new home. We`d recommend being introduced very slowly to any new dogs she meets. Sometimes children are a little overwhelming, so she should go to a home with teens or older. She is still learning her manners and would benefit from some training to redirect her excitement to toys! To help with training, Peanut is eligible for four free sessions with an online training service called GoodPup! And would you be surprised if we told you Peanut loves peanut butter? Come meet Peanut today to see if she would be a good fit for your home!Medical History: I appear to be a healthy young adult dog who should meet my new vet shortly after adoption to keep me on the pathway of good health.Adoption Fee: $325 plus taxIf you`d like to meet me, click the `Learn About the Adoption Process` button below to plan a visit to the shelter!RESTRICTIONS: Teens and older only

***** Petal has been with us longer than we would like so she is a member of our Lonely Hearts Club and her adoption fee has been reduced to $325. *****Meet the lovely little miss Petal! She is a sweet, shy pup, and when she meets the right family, she is sure to bloom! Petal is a sweetheart who loves to cuddle on your lap and get all the pets you can offer. Petal`s ideal family will have the patience to help her come out of her shell and help teach her all the love and beauty life has to offer! Petal came from a tough beginning so she is still wary of strangers and other animals-- for this reason, she would need time to meet and adjust to new animals she might meet or live with. Young kids will be a little too overwhelming for her as well. She would benefit greatly from positive reinforcement training and slow introductions within her new home. To help with this training, she is eligible for a 4-week scholarship to an online training program called GoodPup - ask your adoptions counselor for more detail! Could Petal be the pretty pittie pup for you?Weight: 41.4 lbsMedical history: I appear to be a healthy young adult dog, but would love to meet my regular veterinarian after adoption to establish care and make sure I`m in tip top shape!Adoption Fee: $325 plus taxIf you`d like to meet me, click the `Learn About the Adoption Process` button below to plan a visit to the shelter!

Story
Hey there! I’m Bronx, a one-year-old brown dog with a ton of energy and a love for all things exercise. If there’s running, playing, or anything that involves burning energy, count me in! I’m excited to find a home where I can get plenty of action and fun activities to keep me busy and happy. I wouldn`t be a good fit with young kids, cats, or small critters—I can’t help but get a little too excited around them, and I need someone who matches my energy better! Are you looking for a fun pup who is ready to go on adventures with you? Then, we can settle down on the couch and watch our favorite show together! I can`t wait to meet you! My adoption also includes a scholarship to a four week training program called GoodPup, so be sure to ask about that when you meet me! Medical: I appear to be a generally healthy dog, but its best to take me to my new vet soon so we can get to know each other!Weight: ~64 lbsAdoption Fee: $375 + TaxIf you`d like to meet me, click the `Learn About the Adoption Process` button below to plan a visit to the shelter!

Story
Greetings and salutations! I’m Azul, and I’m as beautiful as a blueberry. Probably as healthy for you, too! I love all people, and have lived with another dog in peace, as long as we were fed apart from one another. I’m playful, and always excited to be around people. So much so, that sometimes I get a little too jumpy and wiggly. Nothing a little training couldn’t solve. I’m an all around sweet pea (I mean berry), and I can’t even wait to meet you! Love, AzulMedical: I appear to be a healthy adult dog at this time, but it`s always a good idea to get me into my new vet!Weight: 87 poundsAdoption Fee: $275+ Tax
