Story
WE ARE A TX BASED RESCUE. THIS DOG IS CURRENTLY LOCATED IN TX AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED UPON ADOPTION. Please fill out an adoption application found at haydudeequine.org Dunkin - You are the bridge between what was and what will be, my pathway to a new life! Hey there! I'm Dunkin, your future best friend and professional cuddle expert. At the ripe age of 2 1/2, I've mastered the art of being the ultimate companion. My resume includes top-notch skills in napping, fetching, and giving unconditional love. Let's dive into the deets, shall we? Who's a Good Boy? I Am! First things first, I'm on a gourmet diet of Purina Chicken & Rice—only the best for this furball. I'm super friendly with humans (big and small), other dogs, and even those mysterious creatures called cats. Yes, I'm a social butterfly! Indoor or Outdoor? I Love 'Em Both! Whether we're chilling indoors or exploring the great outdoors, I'm all in. I'm a true indoor/outdoor enthusiast. Fancy a hike? I'm your guy. More of a homebody? I'll snuggle up right next to you. And yes, I'm crate trained too, so no worries there! Cuddle Bug Extraordinaire I'm not just any regular dog; I'm a cuddle bug deluxe edition. I love naps more than a squirrel loves nuts. If you're looking for a snuggle buddy during those lazy Sunday afternoons, look no further. Dunkin is here to stay! Adventures and Playtime? Count Me In! I'm an avid hiker, a swimming champ, and a fetch pro. But, let's be real, I do have a tiny quirk—I'm not a fan of those rolling beasts called shopping carts, and loud noises and new places can be a bit spooky. But give me a little time to adjust, and I'll be the life of the party, showing off my happy, playful, and downright silly side. A Little Love Goes a Long Way!! I love rubbing up against my favorite humans (and yes, furniture too—I don't discriminate). I'm a laid-back lap dog at heart, not high strung at all. My main goal? To find a loving home where I can avoid the shelter life and be part of a family that adores me as much as I'll adore them. So, what do you say? Ready to add a sprinkle of Dunkin to your life? Let's make every day brighter...together!! Fill out my adoption application and let's start our forever friendship!

Story
Cade is as sweet as he is adorable! This 4 month old little nugget has been a model house guest in his foster home, demonstrating good little puppy manners with the adult dogs in the home. He is well socialized, friendly, and going to make a welcome addition to his new household. Cade Is spayed/neutered, up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations, treated for all of the intestinal parasites, and current on flea/tick and heartworm preventative. Because intestinal parasites are cyclical, your puppy may need additional treatment once you get him/her home. This is common and nothing to be alarmed about. Puppies and dogs need to be treated periodically for parasites throughout their entire lives. The adoption fee is $550 if your adoption is prepaid prior to your pup's arrival. An additional $50 will be charged on puppies that are picked up from our Southbury CT adoption center, adopted at an event, or foster home. This additional fee is necessary in order to comply with CT HB 5368. WANT TO MEET OUR DOGS IN PERSON? Check the Events tab on cprdogs.com for all weekend adoption event info. The majority of the dogs marked as 'meet me' will be there to see you! More and more of our adopters are having fun with DNA tests on their pups. You might ask yourself why our breed guess is varying degrees of difference from the DNA tests. Most of our puppies are rescued from high kill shelters or other abandonment situations and we have no info on parents. When we rescue puppies that have no background info, we make our very best educated guess as to breed mix and age. Our guesstimate comes from years and years and years of animal welfare work and training, but our guesses won't always agree with your vet, your neighbor, your DNA test, etc. The most important thing to know about your puppy's breed mix is that most likely he/she is a Super Lovable Mutt made of many many many different breeds. If you are a MA resident, your new family member is required to go through a mandatory 48 hour quarantine period at the Woburn MA isolation facility. Your new family member will be dropped off by our transport on Thursday and will be ready for you to pick him/her up on Saturday between 11 am-1 pm. An additional $100 fee will be added for any dogs picked up from the Woburn MA quarantine facility. This additional fee is necessary in order to comply with MA Order 405-CD-12 and Order 1-AHO-05. TO APPLY PLEASE GO TO www.cprdogs.com. If your application was successfully submitted you will get an automatically generated confirmation email. Please DO NOT USE the ADOPTAPET "CONTACT THIS RESCUE GROUP" form below or you may not hear from us as these often end up in spam or bouncing back. After receipt of your application, an adoption counselor will then be in touch to answer your questions about this pup, discuss the adoption process and get the ball rolling! If you have not heard from one of our volunteers within 5 days of submitting your application, please email mollibo@gmail.com.

Story
Ralphy is a very special boy who deserves the most wonderful home! Ralph was dumped in Naugatuck during a heat wave, and survived a severe case of heat stroke! He has since gotten better and has proven to be the most sweetest, loving and gentle boy! Due to the heat stroke, we find that he does best with short bits of exercise/play time and lots of relaxing on a comfy bed! Ralph loves to learn and be with his people, and has shown to be gentle towards other dogs. If you're interested in meeting this special boy and learning more, please fill out an application on our website www.naugatuckanimalcontrol.com

Story
Meet Rodney - the adorable, and perhaps a bit rascally, pup who's sure to steal your heart! While the folks at the shelter think he may be a Boston Terrier mix, who really knows for sure? What we do know is that this 20-lb 5-month-old baby is friendly, outgoing, and loves to show his love for people. He's even managed to get along with a few canine companions, though he may need some help with his doggie manners. Our boy Rodney is working hard on his crate and house training, and with a little love and patience, he'll be on his best behavior in no time. Here's the thing though: Rodney can be a bit much for some dogs, and he has a lot of energy. So, he's looking for a home where he can be the center of attention (he's quite the diva, after all!). His ideal home would be one with humans who are willing to go on long walks, play endless games of fetch, and maybe even try their hand at a few training tricks. He'll reward you with plenty of slobbery kisses and adoring looks. If you think you could be the one for Rodney, please fill out an application at wwk9rescue.com. This adorable pup can't wait to meet you!
