Mitzi was owner- surrender as her owner decided he didn't want her anymore. This is where CPR comes into her life! Mitzi is the perfect-sized little girl that we believe is around 18 months old. She weighs around 48 pounds and is full-grown. She is housetrained and crate-trained. Mitzi was not treated good at her last home and she is warming up nicely knowing she will never be mistreated again.The only thing she is having to learn from that living situation is trusting people. Once she knows she is safe, she warms up nicely. She has even learned that it is ok to jump up on the couch and snuffle with her foster mommy and other doggies. She loves running and playing with the other foster dogs. She has mastered walking on a leash and has done so well with it! All she needs to learn is that she will never be mistreated ever again. Some patience and TLC is all this girl needs!! Mitzi is spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccinations, and current on flea/tick and heartworm preventative. All dogs 6 month + receive a Proheart 6 injection at the time of their heartworm test. This provides heartworm prevention for 6 months from the time of that injection. This dog has tested positive for heartworms, but has received her treatment and is ready to travel to her forever home. Dougie is submissive to the grouchy old dogs in his foster home and his favorite minutes of the day are when he can convince them to play. He also loves to snuggle on the couch when his tiny little t-Rex arms get him up there or when the teenagers give him a boost up. Dougie is a handsome little short king who has all the rizz with the neighborhood kids. He will make a fun little companion for just about any home. Dougie has a nice medium energy level which is a rare find for a young pup - when he gets rambunctious it’s short lived and he’s very content to just be with his people, occasionally making little piggy noises.
