Born: January 7, 2024 I'm 47lbs, and I am looking for my forever home. Adoption Donation: $400 Meet Popeye! This adorable Staffordshire Bulldog mix has a puppy-like charm that’s impossible to resist and a smile that can light up any room. Despite his young age, Popeye is already showing what a sweet and loving companion he can be. While he’s still learning his manners, his playful spirit and strong desire to please make him eager to learn and grow. Popeye is highly food-motivated, which will be a big help when it comes to teaching him new commands and building good habits. While he gets along well with both cats and dogs, he does prefer to enjoy his meals in peace, so a little dining privacy would suit him best. With his affectionate personality, willingness to learn, and that winning smile, Popeye is ready to be the perfect addition to a loving home. He’s searching for someone who will guide him, play with him, and give him all the love he deserves. Could that someone be you? All dogs are microchipped, neutered, current on all vaccines, heartworm tested (if age appropriate), and up-to-date on preventatives at the time of adoption. An application is required to view our adoptable pets. All household members and any dogs from the household need to be present to be able to adopt. A photo ID will be required at the time of adoption. Appointments are HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. All applications are considered general. Specific animals are NOT put on hold for adoption. When you visit, our adoption counselors will be able to make suggestions based on the type of pet you are looking for and help you find the best fit for your family. Animal House Shelter cannot guarantee the breeds of the adoptable animals. The animals are posted on the website as the breed or breed mix based on their physical characteristics they most resemble.
