Kimbo is a great companion. He loves to be around me all of the time. He is used to a lot of outside time and loves to play with other dogs. He is leashed trained and responds well to positive reinforcement training. He is well trained except for jumping when super excited. He is not fixed but not aggressive. He loves to cuddle and go on trails and car rides

Story
Meet Janice! Hello, my name is Janice, and I'm a beautiful tri-pod, but you would never guess it with how well I get around! I'm a senior gal now, but I got my leg amputated about 6 years ago, so I've learned to work with what I have and can get around splendidly with just 3 legs! At about 50 pounds, I can do steps with the grace of a cheetah. Well, except that my ears defy gravity in the process. I get along well with other dogs, but cats are a whole other ball game, so I shouldn't live with them. I could live with kiddos who are nice to me, just as long as they don't leave the front door open. I go potty outside, and I have a doggy door in my foster home, that I can use as I wish that leads to a nice fenced in yard where I can lay under the nice shade tree and take in all the sights and the warm country air! That's one of my favorite things to do. Since I lived a lot of my life in the city, I'm learning that country life is quite glorious! Less noise, fewer distractions, more time to just enjoy life! When the sun is just the right temperature, you can find me soaking up the rays on the back deck. Some more of my favorite things include lounging on the furniture when it's too rainy or wet outside, carrying stuffies and/or chewies around in my mouth to show off, and sleeping in the big bed with my humans. I really like to chew on no-hide rawhide treats. I'm ready to find my forever family now, and I hope they can show me even more super great things about life! I should live in a home without leather furniture so I don't mistake it for a rawhide, or have a safe place to be when my family is gone if they do have leather furniture. Don't worry, any other furniture doesn't seem like it would be tasty. I have a lot of love to give to my people, so I would hate to make a mess out of anything. I hope you are ready to bring me home with you so I can show you all of my love! *Janice is being fostered in Fort Atkinson, WI. Albert's Dog Lounge is a specialty rescue focusing primarily on senior and special needs dogs. Our process includes an approved application, reference checks, a homevisit, and then a meet and greet with the dog. Adoption fee is $300, ($550 for a pair).
