FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME NEEDED Say hello to this sweetheart, Chloe! She is a 1.5 year-old, 40 LB American Staffordshire mix who is ready to find her forever home! Chloe is very loving, playful, and overall just a very happy girl! She has done great with other dogs in our care and loves having playtime. She would love another dog in the home as a playmate, or she could be fine as an only dog if she had continued socialization. Chloe is very sweet and loving, and enjoys being with her people. She can be a little energetic and bouncy, and will require an adopter that is willing to continue working on her basic obedience for better handling. She is very smart however and learns quickly, and loves to please her handler. Chloe would love to find her forever home soon where she can snuggle up on the couch with her people and go on adventures! Chloe is UTD on vaccinations, microchipped, and spayed. Her adoption fee is $500.

Story
Atlas-t, Your Loyal Companion has arrived! Atlas is a gentle giant with a heart as big as his name suggests. This well-mannered boy prefers to keep to himself but would love nothing more than to curl up on the couch with a loving human by his side. He’s incredibly well-behaved, treat-motivated, and fully housebroken—making him an easy addition to any home. The Perfect Housemate - Crate-trained and comfortable in his own space- Walks beautifully on a leash, greeting passing dogs with curiosity but no aggression- Rides well in the car for those weekend adventures- Atlas is not a fan of feline friends so he would do best in a home without kitties! Health & Care - Up to date on shots and already neutered- Heartworm positive, but currently undergoing the slow-kill treatment (adoption includes a year of preventive and treatment meds!) Heartworm is unfortunately quite common in Texas due to the warm, humid climate that allows mosquitoes, which spread heartworm, to thrive year-round. Many dogs in Texas face this risk, but the good news is that heartworm treatment is very effective. With proper medical care, including the treatment provided at adoption, dogs can fully recover and go on to lead long, healthy, and happy lives. With preventive medication, heartworm can be kept at bay, allowing dogs to enjoy an active, fulfilling life with their families. Atlas hasn’t been formally introduced to other dogs yet, but his calm demeanor and friendly sidewalk greetings show great promise. While his size might seem intimidating, his personality is nothing but sweet. If you’re looking for a chill, well-behaved companion to share your home and heart with, Atlas is your guy. We’re also starting a fundraiser next week to help with his heartworm treatment, but any adopter will receive full support with his continued care. Could you be the one to give Atlas his forever home? Apply today! To add Atlas to your family, simply send us an email at springbranchrescue@gmail.com for adoption and fee information. He is wagging his tail and wiggling his butt at just the thought of finding his forever home and his story is just beginning! His next chapter could be with you! Our adoption fee includes transport, all age required shots, microchip, & a health certificate from a licensed veterinarian. We look forward to receiving your application! We will review it shortly and give you a call to set up a phone interview.  We are thrilled to offer transport services every 3 weeks from Houston to the Pacific Northwest, the Midwest, and the East Coast, ensuring that these incredible pets can find their way to you no matter where you are. This makes the adoption process smooth and convenient, allowing you to focus on welcoming your new family member with open arms. Why should you adopt from a Texas Rescue? Because you will be giving one of our many dogs and cats in need a chance for a better future away from a city that has an animal crisis. We are heartbroken each day with the many incredible and loving animals found wandering our streets. So often are these animals dumped, abandoned, or born on the streets and never find a home to call their own. We are giving them the chance that every animal deserves. We know that since you are looking to add a furry family member to your home here, you will provide the love, care, and attention they need to thrive. Thank you for considering adopting and not shopping. ##2219801##

Meet Rex, the irresistibly adorable five-month-old puppy who's bound to capture your heart! With a playful spirit and a curious nature, Rex is the perfect companion for anyone who loves a little adventure. He absolutely adores humans and gets along well with other dogs. However, his fascination with cats can be a bit overwhelming for our feline friends. Rex is almost fully housebroken and excels at walking on a leash. Plus, he's crate trained, making him an easy addition to any household. His laid-back demeanor ensures he will fit right in, no matter where he goes. We offer transportation to the Pacific Northwest, East Coast, and Midwest, so adopting Rex is a breeze. Why choose a pet from Texas? Because every day, perfectly healthy dogs and cats in our shelters miss the chance to find a loving home. Don't let Rex be one of them—he's ready to meet someone like you! Story
Available in TX, PNW & NE (excluding NH and MA) This handsome man is Jake Gyllenpaws. Jake is a real model and is good at stealing hearts with his good looks. His foster mom says Jake has the "model look to him. He lays down and when you stop petting him, he looks back at you with "Blue Steel." Of course, this look often ends with more pets and kisses for the sweet boy. How could you not just love all over this boy? Jake loves to cuddle on the couch and be by your side soaking up all the love. After being stuck in the shelter, Jake has been working so hard on his doggie manners and wants to show you how far he's come. He can sit, lie down, and has been working on learning to stay. He is potty trained and loves to be outside in a yard with his family. He doesn't much care for the crate, but his foster family is committed to showing him it can be a pawsitive place. Jake is a gentle boy and sensitive. After his last vet visit, he looked quite sad, so his foster mom took him to get a pup-cup and it made him very happy again. Jake will require continued spoiling and love, as he deserves the best. Jake is living with 2 other dogs in his foster family and loves having play mates. They get along very well outside of treat time. Jake would prefer not to share. It's likely best to feed Jake separately from other resident dogs since he's still learning that sharing is caring. This Jake Gyllenpaws isn't a fan of cats. A home without felines is best for him. Jake is a velco boy and loves to be with his family. His human foster brother is turning out to be his best friend. Jake is learning to be gentle with him because he gets so excited when he sees him. Although Jake hasn't met any smaller children, we think he would do well with kids over 10. He does like the zoomies and with his zest for life, he may knock over the smaller ones trying to play. Sweet Jake is a real lap dog at heart and loves being by your side. If you're looking for an energetic and loving pup to join your family, Jake Gyllenpaws could be the perfect match for you! Available in TX only! Granger, a 54-pound young adult rescue dog, embodies a unique blend of traits that make him an endearing companion. Initially cautious around strangers, he blossoms into a loyal and affectionate friend once he establishes trust. His wide-set, beautiful eyes are a distinctive feature, complemented by charmingly bow-legged stature reminiscent of a bulldog. Granger thrives in the company of other dogs, eagerly seeking opportunities to snuggle and play with his furry pals. His social nature extends to adoring kids, showcasing gentle and amiable behavior around them. A testament to his adaptability, Granger is both kennel and potty trained, demonstrating discipline and understanding of boundaries. While initially uneasy with car rides, he is gradually becoming more comfortable, displaying resilience and openness to new experiences. Granger came into rescue with frequent upper respiratory infections. Extensive medical testing was done and it was discovered that he has a fungus that infiltrated his lungs and cervical spine. His gradual acclimatization to car rides mirrors his overall willingness to embrace change and learn. Granger's journey from a hesitant newcomer to a beloved companion reflects his resilient spirit and willingness to form deep connections. In essence, Granger is an amiable, adaptable, and affectionate dog whose gradual warmth towards strangers underscores his loyalty and trustworthiness once he embraces friendship. FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME NEEDED! Cody is a 5 - 6 year old Boxer mix who is looking for a loving, active and structured forever home! He is sweet but had a rough beginning so will need a rescue experienced home that will help him build trust, learn basic obedience and gain confidence. He will bond to his people and loves attention and affection. He loves treats and is glad to work for them! He has not had a lot of training so will need support with continued basic obedience. He is looking for a home that is adult only or with kids over the age of 16. He will thrive in a home where he can be active, he loves to run around, go for walks, and would make an excellent outdoor activity partner. Cody can do well with other dogs but it is always best to do proper introductions to make sure it is a good match and that all parties 'mesh'. Cody would do best in a home with a large fenced yard where he can run, roam and play. Cody is UTD on shots, has had a dental, is microchipped and neutered. His adoption fee is $400.

Story
Say hello to Archie! Archie is a 3-year-old English Bulldog who came to us an owner surrender as his owner was not able to care for him. Prior to coming to us, he lived much of his life in a crate where he was not well socialized or cared for. Archie has made huge strides since going into his foster home and we have found that he forms a deep and loving bond with his person, and we think he would do best in a home with one owner. He is looking for a confident, experienced owner who will spend time to help him reach his full potential. Archie is happy with other dogs, and would do fine with other dogs in the home but is best suited to a home without children and without a lot of foot traffic. He does well in a crate, and he is also house broken. Archie has quite the personality and loves to go for a ride in the car. In addition to car rides, he absolutely loves his toys and will entertain himself for hours on end. Archie is up to date on vaccinations, microchipped and neutered. His adoption fee is $400.
