Story
Moira Rose has had her last litter and is now taking time out for herself. She is getting the hang of indoor living and what it means to curl up on a doggie bed. Getting the attention she has been lacking for a long time. Walks good on leash, rides great in the car. Moira Rose is a great bird watcher and will run and bark to let them know she won’t tolerate their present. She’s a bit on the aloof side, comes to you when she feels the need. She will growl to get your attention as to say I’m here human, give me your hand. She gets excited when she thinks she can read your movement and barks with excitement to know she was right about it. Best with another dog to help her to have that security being with one of her kind. She plays well with others and will find her cuddled up with her favorite pal. Patiently waiting for her forever home. www.cprdogs.com . Moira Rose is spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccinations, and current on flea/tick and heartworm preventative. This dog has tested neg for heartworms. The adoption fee is $450 if your adoption is prepaid and final prior to your dog's arrival. An additional $50 will be charged on dogs that are picked up from our Southbury CT adoption center, adopted at an event, or foster home. This additional fee is necessary in order to comply with CT HB 5368. WANT TO MEET OUR DOGS IN PERSON? Check the Events tab on cprdogs.com for all weekend adoption event info. Name: JasperAge: Under 2Breed: Anatolian Shepherd MixDogs: YesCats: YesKids: Over 5Our buddy Jasper is ready to find his forever home! Jasper was found roaming and kept safe by a good Samaritan until our neighbors at animal control could get there to help. His owners never came forward to claim Jasper, and he's now with MHS and we couldn't be more thrilled! This big guy is incredibly sweet and loves everyone who crosses his path! This is one handsome pup, Jasper gets stopped everywhere he goes and gets complimented about how handsome he is, just check out those baby blues!Jasper is a free spirit, who loves his walks, car rides, chasing the occasional butterfly, playing with his toys, occasionally forgets his size and thinks he's a lapdog, and is just an all around goofy, sweet pup!Jasper is very well behaved, likes other dogs, is good with kids, but due to his size, we are saying over 5 because he is still a bit of a puppy so can get a little overly excited when playing, but who can blame the guy. Jasper doesn't mind cats, but would prefer to play with them. Jasper is UTD on his vaccinations, neutered, and micro-chipped.If you think you are Jasper's forever family, please fill out an application today! https://service.sheltermanager.com/asmservice?account=meridenhumanesociety&method=online_form_html&formid=27

APPLICATION LINK: https://shaynesrescue.com/adoption-application/ We must have an application to move forward. (Shayne's Rescue is an affiliate with PetCentralSATX). If there are problems with the website, please email me for help. ABIGAIL is an Anatolian Shepherd mix. She is about 75# and 2-3 yrs old. Abigail has some fuzzy hair with a beautiful fluffy tail that curls over her back when she’s playful. She is house trained and crate trained. She has no interest in cats and is particularly fearful of farm animals. She has not been around farm animals while growing up. In the process of testing her with all the animals, the donkey was the scariest and the noise the pigs made were frightful. After a half an hour walking among the farm animals she became much more curious and about them and calm…even with the donkey. She was a little leery of my sister and me but it only took her a few minutes to say hello. After that, all of us were able to pet her and give her treats. Her temperament is calm, sweet, and adaptable. Abigail has an allergy to Chicken so she is kept on a Blue Buffalo Lamb kibble. She also needs to go outside every 6-7 hours to do her business. This dog is CURRENTLY IN TEXAS and available for pre-adoption. Adoptions include neuter/spay, vaccinations (DHPP, Bordetella, Rabies), microchip, health certificate, transport with our professional dog transporter, and 6 mos of heart worm prevention. If you have any questions or would like an e-mail from us as to how all of this works, text me (Terry); identify the dog's name and give me your email address... 210-394-6060. You can also go to our Facebook page... https://www.facebook.com/Pet-Central-SATX-866684826744181/ and LIKE us to help us out. After we review your application, we will contact you, and you'll have the opportunity to find out more from the rescue. If you experience any issues filling out the application you can contact us directly at petcentralsatx@gmail.com. This is ONLY if you have problems applying. If you have not applied, you will not receive a response so please only email if you have any issues applying. Adoption Fees The adoption fee includes transportation to the NE. All pups and dogs are fully vetted, spayed/neutered, microchipped, dewormed, have a negative heart worm test for all dogs over 6 months at time of transport, have a health certificate, and have all age-appropriate vaccinations. Some dogs/pups have additional medical, including but not limited to FHO, ACL, hernias, dental, and other vetting. All medical records will be provided to the adopter at the time they pick up their dog. This is a post on behalf of Pet Central SATX Rescue, headquartered in San Antonio, Texas, where there are over 350,000 homeless pets. We have hundreds of puppies/dogs available so there really is no need to apply anywhere else. Also, one application is good even if you are interested in several different dogs...one application no matter which one you choose. Thank you for choosing to adopt a rescue pup/dog. We firmly believe there is NO breed other than "rescue" for all species. Thank you for being part of the village it takes to save these precious lives.

Story
adoption donation $599 weight: 45 lbs Age: 2 years     Precious lives up to her name. She is a sweet and friendly dog who loves to run and play. Precious has been with the rescue for quite a while, she was treated for heartworm, but is negative now. She gets very excited when people visit, she would absolutely love a family of her own where she can play with other dogs.         Precious is an active girl, her tail is always wagging and she always looks like she’s smiling!  She is up-to-date on her vaccinations and is spayed. She is housebroken but like any rescue dog she may need some guidance says she adjust to a new home.    We really aren’t sure of her breed, she seems to have some shepherd and maybe some Shibu Inu, when we put her pictures into a Dog Scanner app she comes up with all sorts of breeds  most of which we’ve never heard of! What we do know is that Precious is a really awesome dog!     Wags is a registered 501 C3, it is a struggling rescue in Mississippi where one woman cares for almost 150 homeless dogs. Adoption donations are our only source of funding for the rescue. Adoption fees include the transport, vaccines, spay or neuter.   For more information, please email Mariaeftimiades@yahoo.com  August 19, 2024, 7:04 am

Story
Greetings, fabulous folks! Allow me to introduce myself - the name's Echo, and let me tell you, I hit the jackpot when it comes to birth dates. Yep, you heard right - I'm a Halloween baby born on the spookiest day of the year, October 31st! Where are all my spooky people at?!   Now, rumor has it that I'm a delightful mix of Mastiff, packing a whopping 90 pounds of pure energy and charm. My idea of a good time? Playing catch like a pro and gnawing on a stick like it's nobody's business. I bring a whole new meaning to the term "playtime enthusiast."   When it comes to staying active, count me in! Whether it's a sprint around the block or a leisurely stroll in the park, I'm always ready for some fun. And let me tell you, I'm not just a ball of energy - I'm also the friendliest four-legged friend you'll ever come across. Making new pals is my specialty!   Oh, and did I mention that I'm a pro at potty training? That's right, I've got the whole housebroken thing down to a T. And don't even get me started on my crate skills - I'm basically a crate connoisseur.   But here's the best part - I'm a lover of all creatures, big and small! Cats, dogs, kids - you name it, I'm a big fan. So if you're looking for a furry companion who's full of love and endless fun, look no further! Come on over and meet your new best friend - me, Echo! ##2138101##

Story
Hi there, fabulous friends!  The name's Prince , and I’m here to sprinkle some magic with my larger-than-life personality! At a sprightly 2ish years young, I might be a Mastiff mix, but just watch me bounce around like a puppy on a sugar high! Weighing in at a grand 120lbs, I’m your gentle giant with a heart of gold, all about those cozy vibes – belly rubs, paw massages, and head scratches are my ultimate jam! Now, gather ‘round for a little story: my previous owner thought it was a-okay to leave me all alone in an empty house. But fear not! Some real-life superheroes swooped in, rescued me from my lonely castle, and now I’m on the quest for my forever home, the one that's just right for me! Despite my not-so-glamorous past, I’m all about love, not war! I get along famously with both doggos and kiddos, but when it comes to cats? A big ol’ "no thanks!"  I’ve been training with an awesome human, so I’ve got my obedience skills down to a fine art!But wait, there’s more fun to be had! Yours truly is fully vetted and ready to rock your world with a clean bill of health! So, what do you say? Let’s set off on an adventure together and fill our days with love, laughter, and a whole lot of wagging tails!    Apply at: www.astdogrescue.com/dog-application ##2143498##
