This handsome guy is sweet, loves being pet, going for walks, hiking, and playing with other dogs. He is very timid at first since he has been abused. Looking for a patient family that will give him time to warm up and learn to trust. Good with dogs large and small. Likes lounging on the couch and wading in his pool when not busy playing. Needs a good 6 foot fence, as he will run away if scared. Give this guy a chance and call his foster mom to set up a meeting. 601-479-2601

Story
Duke is 3.5 years old! He is a very sweet and loving dog. He absolutely loves his kids! He loves to play with the other dogs, but they are older and are starting to fight with him a lot, so that is why we unfortunately have to rehome him. He loves having his big back yard to run in and play. He is potty trained, and trained to use a dog door. His favorite game is chasing lasers, lights, and phone reflections. He loves to cuddle, he thinks he’s a lap dog! He’s shy around men he doesn’t know, but once he warms up to you, he loves you! He warms up better to women at first. Sometimes he takes the kids stuffies and cuddles with them at night or when we’re not home, but he doesn’t chew them up. We just want to see him go to a good family that will love him like we have!

Story
Meet Scout! Scout is a 5 year old 70 pound male with beautiful leash manners! He loves his people and seems to think that he is a giant lap dog. Scout has lived with a family for the last five years that loved him dearly but just could not keep him.  Scout is good with children and has been well trained. He is a soft soul and is fully housetrained. He is in group play in day care and occasionally needs to be reminded that he is not in charge of all of his friends:) he listens very well to reminders and is quick to respond to his human directors:) To ensure his safety, a secure, fenced-in yard is required.  Adoption Requirements: Scouts adoption fee is $350. If you live in the Phoenix metro area and think he could be the right fit for you, please complete an adoption application*: Scout is neutered, up to date on shots and microchipped.  If you are interested in making Scout a permanent member of your family, please fill out our online   Application*   https://helpadogsmile.org/adoption-application   .       *Please note that the application is not a commitment to adopt–it is a tool used to help determine if a dog and applicant would make a good match. Applications are forwarded to the foster family for review and follow-up.    March 29, 2025, 12:04 am

Collin has come such a long way since joining the rescue! Initially an e-lister who was too scared to leave his kennel, Collin has blossomed over the past few months, revealing his true, wonderful nature. Now, Collin is a charming 3-year-old pup who's ready to steal your heart! Collin is dog-friendly, though he would do best in a home with dogs 40 lbs and up, and without cats. He's already potty trained, crate trained, and knows how to use a dog door like a pro. One of Collin's favorite pastimes is showing his affection through lots of kisses—he's a real cuddle bug! Collin thrives in a home with another dog companion and a yard to roam and play in. He is up-to-date on all his vaccines, neutered, and microchipped for added peace of mind. If you're looking for a loyal companion who will shower you with love and kisses, Collin might just be the perfect match for you!
