Story
This is Ellie. She is 2 years old, spayed, microchipped and just got her vaccines. We adopted her from a pet shelter over a month ago. Within this time we have gotten new jobs, started school, and we live very far from where we work. Ellie likes to be active, play fetch and run around, but she also likes to cuddle a lot! She loves carrots, peanut butter and enrichment toys. She can get a little protective over her owners. Also, she does have a lot of separation anxiety, so she needs a home where she will be active and have attention. Ellie deserves to have a home where she can run and have fun with a family who can give her all the love and time she needs.

Story
Meet Ivy, a 10-month-old 25lb all round mix looking for her forever home!   Background: Ivy and her mom joined us from the reservation after a resident found them alone and desperately looking for food. The woman started feeding them while we worked out transportation and confirmed that they did not belong to anyone. Personality: Ivy is a typical puppy who LOVES to play and wrestle. She loves all dogs and food is the way to her heart. She goes to daycare every day and is in group play with up to 30 dogs. Ivy loves having other dogs around to play with. Health: Ivy is up to date on all vaccines, spayed, and microchipped.   Training: Ivy keeps her kennel clean and should be a pro in the house with a little guidance as she likes to be clean.  She is comfortable wandering on a leash and with a treat will stay right with you. She is just a busy puppy. Ideal Home: Ivy would love a home where her family is easy and slow with her as she adjusts. She would love a companion dog and lots of attention from her people. A secure, fenced-in yard is a must to keep her safe.   Adoption Requirements: Ivy’s adoption fee is $350. If you live in the Phoenix metro area and think she could be the right fit for you, please complete an adoption application*: helpadogsmile.org/adoption-application  *Please note that the application is not a commitment to adopt–it is a tool used to help determine if a dog and applicant would make a good match. Applications are forwarded to the foster family for review and follow-up. March 8, 2025, 5:52 pm

Story
Madden was taken in by our family as he was part of an accidental litter on a farm. We took him in at 8 weeks old. His birthday is 08/08/2024. He has since been trained on basic commands (sit, come, down, and room/kennel). Madden is up to date on all vaccines, is neutered, and microchipped. Unfortunately, as of recent, he has not been getting along with the other dogs in our home. His aggression has increased and it seems fitting that he goes to a home where he is the only animal. When by himself, Madden is a good, kind dog. He is great at playing fetch, and he loves to snack on carrots. We are hoping he can get into a good home with an experienced dog owner to best continue his life.
