Story
Meet Sprout! This sweet girl is ready to embark on her next adventure of finding her forever family! The way to Sprout's heart is snacks and cuddles that she can enjoy with her person. Sprout loves going out on walks picking up on new smells. She is proud to show off her tricks such as sit and she is eager to impress. Sprout is very loyal to her person and bonds heavily. Once you are someone she trusts, her fun loving personality flourishes! Sprout has not had the easiest life and can be nervous when meeting new people. Sprout can be cautious of hands and objects but she warms up quickly with the help of patience and lots of treats. Sprout has not had much experience living in the warmth of a home, so a family that is willing to be patient with her as she learns the rules of a new home will be important. If Sprout sounds like the right fit for your home, please fill in an application below! https://spca.bc.ca/adoption/dog-pre-adoption-questionnaire/ Primary Color: Red Secondary Color: White Weight: 19.1 Age: 3yrs 1mths 1wks

Story
Meet Jupiter! Jupiter is a 2 month old Kelpie/Siberian Husky mix, searching for her forever home. Jupiter is a lively and energetic pup who is always ready for an adventure! With a playful spirit and boundless enthusiasm, Jupiter is the perfect companion for an active family looking to add a burst of joy and excitement to their lives. This spirited little pup loves to run, jump, and explore, and she is eager to learn new tricks and games. Jupiter is at the age where training and routine are critical, so she needs the consistency, patience and love of her new guardian to show her the ways of developing into a mature and fulfilled adult dog. Adopters are encouraged to attend puppy obedience classes, but the basics are a must - leash training, socializing with people and other dogs, and, of course, house training. Jupiter won't be a puppy forever, and as she grows, there are some important things to keep in mind about her breed. Jupiter is presumed to be a Kelpie/Siberian Husky mix, however we cannot guarantee this is 100% accurate without a DNA test. Australian Kelpies need a lot of exercise to be their happiest selves. A good jog or long workout combined with the mental exercise of obedience lessons should be done daily. Huskies are active, athletic dogs who need a lot of exercise. They are a working breed and happiest when they have a function to perform. Regular exercise is important both physically and mentally, and doing activities together strengthens the bond between dog and owner. So if you're looking for a fun-loving, rambunctious friend to keep you on your toes, Jupiter is the perfect match! **We are accepting applications, and are looking for a Foster-to-Adopt home while Jupiter awaits her spay surgery. **If you think Jupiter could be a good fit for you, please fill out an application below.https://spca.bc.ca/survey/dog-adoption-application-kamloops/*TIP: We encourage all applicants to write a little bit about themselves when prompted. Leaving these questions empty inhibits our ability to make the best match possible, and drastically effects the likelihood of receiving a call back.* Primary Color: Grizzle Secondary Color: White Weight: 3.2 Age: 0yrs 0mths 11wks
