7:15 M 44 Are you looking for a dog friend for your dog? Then Koa is your man! He absolutely loves other dogs and enjoys playtime. He is incredibly dog social with dogs big or small. SPECIAL FOSTER or home NEEDED for a very special pup. Koa is a cattle dog mix, who is two years old. In his foster home, he is mostly confident, although he can still get spooked by sudden movements and loud noises. He loves to play constantly with other dogs. He can be too much for small dogs, but he does well with confident, developed younger dogs. Koa would do best in a country or rural area that is quiet without too much stimulation. Unfortunately, outside of the home, he is insecure. We are seeking a home or foster who is experienced in helping a very shy and anxious dog come out of his shell and has the patience and time to work with him on building his confidence. Koa has become very affectionate with his foster mom, and he has been good with all the dogs that have come through his foster home. He is crate trained and good in the house. Louie is a sensitive and gentle pup who is eager to please. Lots of our friends and family tell us he's the sweetest dog they've ever met! Since we've rescued him, he has thrived into an amazing companion -- warming up to strangers and other dogs. Louie is obedient and fully trained on all basic commands. He loves car rides and will happily join you for any adventure! Louie's favorite things to do are go for an off-leash walk or hike, follow you around the house, play with balls, scavenge for food, and take naps. Louie would do best in a calm home with a patient family who can continue to provide security and safety. Note: Louie is fully physically healthy but had 1 seizure about a year ago that is now fully controlled by medication and has had no symptoms since.

Ozzie is an energetic, intelligent and strong four-year old Australian Cattle dog mixed with Red Heeler. He is about 65 pounds (not sure) and would love to be part of a family with a large back yard or farm as he loves running off leash in open space. He has taken Puppy Kindergarten, Basic Obedience, Loose Leash, ReCall, Achieving Adolescent, Agility and other dog skills classes. He has is comfortable with doggy daycare and has boarded for periods of about two or three weeks. He's friendly with people and dogs but doesn't like bikes or skateboarders or things that come upon him suddenly and seem threatening, in which case he can bark reactively. He is crate-trained. My friend the owner has experienced a series of health challenges and can no longer keep up caring for Ozzie. We'd like to find him a happy new home. Note: these photos are from three years ago when he was one. More up-to-date photos will be posted in about a week. He comes with his crate and many toys.

I got Max when I moved back home from Graduate school, and he has been an absolute gem of a dog to be around. Always up beat, always ready to exercise, and always happy to see you and be around you. He'll follow you around like a little pokémon, with a constant huge smile on his face. Loves to chase, loves to fetch, and inherently also loves to herd. He has all the energy in the world, and unfortunately, with my current schedule and limitations, he isn't getting as much exercise as he needs. He would be the perfect fit for a home that has a backyard or someone with an active lifestyle. He's been in homes before with multiple dogs and other animals as well and is currently with one, but I think he would do best in a home where he's the sole focus of the owner.
