Story
Apply to Adopt Me! If you are looking for a puppy who is ready to paw-ty, then Patchy is your guy! We aren't sure what breed mix he is, but we do know he is a very handsome boy. He looks like he is covered in confetti and he acts like it too! At around 4 months old, he is perfectly pint sized at 26 pounds and is just the right size to snuggle up in your lap when he is finished playing. Very smart and treat motivated, Patchy is quickly learning basic commands and will be ready for any trick you want to teach him. His personality is ideal - loves other dogs and cats, great with kids and responds well to correction. Patchy is crate trained (sleeps all night in his crate) and walks well on a leash. He barks when excited and has had a few potty accidents inside, but is learning the rules quickly. Patchy loves going for rides and is very well behaved in the vehicle. One of his fav things is chasing lizards and squirrels. He loves toys, but needs durable ones - stuffies don't stand a chance! He also loves chasing a ball and and fetching it - he brings it back and drops at your feet. Like any puppy, he grabs things that aren't his but he is learning "leave it" and he is learning the "stay" command. Patchy will make an ideal furever friend for someone ready for adventure, a family looking for a playmate for dogs or kids, or for anyone looking for an all-around amazing puppy. He is really well behaved. We prefer a playmate around his size or larger, and a fenced yard so he can get his playful puppy energy out on a daily basis. As with any puppy, Patchy will benefit from puppy classes and continued socialization to be the best adult dog he can be. If you live in the Central Florida/Orlando area and believe you have the perfect, active home for Patchy, please complete an app and tell us more about your family. August 19, 2024, 5:24 pm

Story
Jackson is a great dog. He’s very gentle and loving and wants nothing more than to have your love and attention. He came to me from a client that did not know how to train him as he was originally a dog running feral on an Indian reservation in Wyoming. When we got him, we worked with him and we taken care of his bad habits. He’s now a great dog to be inside or out. Unfortunately, my daughters mastiff does not like him and has attacked him several times. She has left him with me, and I work seven days a week and do not have the time to give him the attention that he craves. He needs to be in a home with children or other dogs, or an older person that is home and can give him the attention he desires. I will be asking for Vet references to assure that he is going to a caring home.

Story
Hi, my name is Peppermint Patty. Some call me Peppy for short. It is estimated that I am just about 2 years old. I am super smart, I already know sit, boop, down, drop it, wait and leave it. I also know what they mean when they tell me to pee or poop on a walk, these are just the beginnings of words that I am learning, and I can (and want to) learn so much more! I would benefit most from a home with someone VERY active and would like to take the time to train me on many more commands. The sky is the limit as to what I can learn. I do get along with other dogs (with slow introductions), but I am also very intense, so it depends on whether the other dog is willing and able to set boundaries for me. I require slow introductions to people as well, you can't just trust everyone. Since I am young, and strong, it would be best to be in a home without children. I love to go on walks, but love yard zoomies as well, so a fenced-in yard is preferred. I am a bit of a handful, so we don't want anyone to think they are entering into this lightly with me. I will need love, time and lots of training to be the best dog I can be. In return, you will have my loyalty and love, I'm a very wonderful companion. No DNA tests have been done, but since Cattle Dog and possibly Blue Nose Pit are both on the restricted breed list, homeownership is required to adopt me. No renters. I have all had all of my shots, and am spayed. This is all included in my adoption fee, as well as a registered microchip and a full set of medical records for you and my future vet! If you are interested in meeting me, please complete an adoption application. Upon pre-approval, someone will reach out to set up a time for a meet and greet. I'm looking forward to meeting you! Only applicants who meet the following current requirements will be considered: - Homeownership, no renters - Children in the home must be 13 and up - Fenced yard not required, but preferred ##1596640##
