Story
Names Ripp! Im a healthy and handsome Blue heeler, 3 years young. Im a smart boy that Knows my commands. I was rescued from a scary shelter and Im ready to meet my new people! I really enjoy long hikes in the woods, jogs around town, a solid round of fetch, and being home Relaxing by your side. My foster says Im an easy going guy MOST of the time who’s happy to take in my surroundings and chill. I dont have the endless energy as some of my heelers my trainers met. The rest of the time...well that depends on who has me! I need a confident owner who really understands Heelers and in return You'll get all my quirky cuteness and a loyal companion. Not to mention Im sure to protect my home to keep you safe from the amazon driver and other suspicious intruders. Dogs- I do best with a dogs who let me do my own thing. I dont want other dogs in my face or trying to play with me...I will correct them! A senior companion, aloof resident do or No dogs work best for me. Kids- Ive interacted with Kids and played fetch but Im Not Bluey...Im a true heeler and I WILL use my mouth to "herd" and correct little ones. A home with small children is not for me. Cats? Not sure but probably not.

Butters is a homebody who likes to stay by your side . Smaller in size but big in heart .He enjoys playing outside with his canine friends and is equally happy to settle in quietly for the down times. Butters is very loving and affectionate. Hes still building confidence in new situations and would thrive in a home with others dogs and an owner of his own to cherish him.

Story
Stratus is about 8years old. He was acquired from a friend in 2019 who could no longer keep him. He has been a good sidekick for many years. He is funny, loyal and loves a good belly rub. He is completely potty and crate trained, does not chew up anything and is good being left alone for long hours, because we all have jobs right? Stratus is not the kind of dog that slobbers your face with kisses like most dogs, but has his own special way of just giving you a peck on the cheek. He loves people! He hasnt been around children so I am not sure how he will do. He does not get along with other dogs or cats. He lives with cats now but has been starting to attack them for no reason and is getting out of hand. This is the reason we are rehoming him. He needs to be an only fur baby. He is a great dog and would love to have just his humans! We love him, but we are seriously concerened about him hurting one of the other animals, so for that reason he needs a new furever home.

Story
We found Blue while walking in a local park about two years ago. She was very skinny and had no microchip but was incredibly sweet. She quickly became a part of our family and loves to cuddle with anyone. About a year ago, another dog we named Hank, wondered up to our house in bad shape. She helped him to heal and they quickly became best friends and are inseparable now. We would love to find a home for the two of them as they play very well together and love to be active. They would do great in an active household that can provide exercise and mental stimulation. Blue needs an experienced owner as she is incredibly smart and athletic. She can jump a 5 foot fence and loves to run. She will also countersurf if given the chance. Check out my bestie, Hank! https://www.adoptapet.com/pet/43833351-palatka-florida-hound-unknown-type-mix

Story
Monty is a 5-year-old Red Heeler with a heart full of affection and a protective streak. This smart and energetic boy thrives in an active home where he can channel his energy and intelligence into fun activities and playtime. Monty is a loyal companion who loves his people and enjoys snuggling up for some cuddle time once he's had a chance to burn off his energy. As a breed, Red Heelers are known for their high energy and strong protective instincts, and Monty is no exception. He does well with some dogs outside the home but can be territorial and protective of his space, so he'd be happiest as the only pet in a home. He is not suited for a home with children, as his protective nature may make him uncomfortable around unfamiliar situations or people. Monty needs a confident, experienced owner who understands the breed's instincts and can provide him with structure, mental stimulation, and lots of exercise. He can be a bit cautious around new people, especially in his home, but once he bonds with you, he'll be your loyal protector and best friend. His intelligence makes him highly trainable, and he's always eager to please. If you're looking for a smart, affectionate, and protective companion who will reward your patience and dedication with loyalty and love, Monty might be the perfect match for you.

Story
Hey there! My name is Fabio and I was hand selected for K9s For Warriors service dog program from Clay County Animal Services and passed all my initial tests with flying colors! Since arriving at K9s in May of 2024, I've decided I would rather be a family companion over having to work for a living, due to being too excitable for service dog work. I can easily be described as an enthusiastic ball of fun, having many favorite activities to keep me busy! Speaking of favorite activities, my dream home would ideally include endless water activities/adventures with my forever humans. On days that I can splash around, I’d happily settle for a zoomie session around the yard followed by a friendly game of tug! I would benefit from an experienced handler that can provide structure and a consistent routine. I am crate trained, neutered, microchipped, up to date on vaccines, and eagerly waiting for my forever home. Take me home today! If you are considering adopting Fabio, we highly encourage you to reach out to set up a formal meet and greet. We look forward to hearing from you and hope we can help find your new furever friend!

Story
I’ve had penny since she was a puppy shes very sweet affectionate playful and energetic. She’s five. Reactive around other animals. I work too much to give her the attention she deserves. We live in cramped space so she doesnt have the room to run around. Ive been wrestling with the fact she deserves so much more then I can give her for almost two year now and it feels selfish to continue holding onto to her instead of finding her another loving home to go to. I don’t want any money for her I really just want her to go to someone who will love and care for her the way she deserves to be. Contact me and let setup a time for you to meet her and make sure she’s a good fit for you
