That does not mean it automatically goes to another family but you should be aware of the fact that until you are approved and set up for the meet/greet.. the dog could get adopted by another applicant.Bumper is a 2.5-year-old Australian Shepherd mix with some curious puppy still in him. He loves his family and his routine. His favorite activity is to play fetch. When the weather is nice, he’ll bring you a tennis ball to go outside and throw around with him. He’ll bring you the ball and drop it right at your feet. Bumper is a very cute, very sweet, little guy who loves to please. His favorite treats are Greenies. He also likes Bully Sticks as a special treat every once in a while. He is crated trained and good on leash. Bumper would like to be an only pet in the home, giving all his love to his person. Bumper has a tendency to want to fight with other dogs that are shy and/or timid. He is also very strong with a typical breed herding instinct, so children in the new home should be at least 13 years old, unless the family is very experienced with understanding the breed. He takes treats very softly even when he is excited. He’s a great dog for anyone with a relaxed lifestyle, as he’s happiest when he’s able to just relax in the presence of other humans. We're not sure what's better about Aloo - that she loves being outside or that she loves cuddling! Maybe it's the perfect combo! Aloo loves going for walks, being outside, letting squirrels know whose boss, cuddling, and food! After a walk, she sleeps. She is great with other dogs and sets healthy boundaries. She is slow to warm up to people and needs time and patience to build rapport, but once you are in, she will bury her head in you and can't get enough pets and love! Aloo is a sweetheart, and with a patient, gentle approach to befriending her, you will be her person for life. Aloo is crate, house and leash trained. She is food motivated, which makes training easier. She is good with cats and other dogs, but her need for patience makes her best for a home without kids or with older kids.

Josie was rescued in the fall of 2020. We don’t know anything about her life prior to us other than she had been adopted a few times before and returned to the rescue for her behavior. She is a total love bug with people and has never shown any aggression or resource guarding with humans, including none with children of any age. She loves to snuggle on the couch with people. She does have extremely high prey drive & will chase to try & kill small animals such as cats, bunnies, squirrels, etc. but is trained off leash using an electronic collar. She has gone through a lot of training for her dog reactivity & will whine when seeing other dogs but walks very nicely on a pinch collar. She has come a long way with her reactivity towards other dogs but cannot be trusted in close proximity with them, especially if they get in her face. She will resource guards bones, toys, and people for attention. She loves off leash hiking, but isn’t a fan of water! She truly is a lovebug with people.

He seems to like men more than woman however he does spend time with me but he prefers my boyfriend. He loves to take walks and seems to do pretty good. He is house broke but may have some accidents in the beginning as he is getting used to things and if other dogs in the home and if you're gone too long. He has a backyard to run around in and has not tried to get out but it's best to make sure your fence is secured if you are going to let him out there unattended. He tries to play with my senior blind boy (who did not play when he could see) so he would do best I think in a home that has a dog he could play with however a meet and greet would be a good idea if possible. He does pretty good with children over 10 but he is skittish so not sure how he would do with younger kids. I am not sure he will ever get over being skittish so it might be best if he was in a quiet home with little chaos. I also did a DNA test on him and he is as follows: 54% Australian Cattle Dog 42% American Eskimo Dog 2% Chihuahua 1% Border Collie 1% Pomeranian Casper is a special boy and I will be looking for the perfect home for him.
