You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. All of the animals posted on our site have been temperament tested. While not all are in the immediate area, once we have processed and approved your application, we will move the dog to our adoptive area for you to meet, greet and hopefully adopt. Sometimes we will have more than one application on a dog. That does not mean it automatically goes to another family but you should be aware of the fact that until you are approved and set up for the meet/greet.. the dog could get adopted by another applicant.Bumper is a 2.5-year-old Australian Shepherd mix with some curious puppy still in him.  He loves his family and his routine.  His favorite activity is to play fetch.  When the weather is nice, he’ll bring you a tennis ball to go outside and throw around with him.  He’ll bring you the ball and drop it right at your feet.  Bumper is a very cute, very sweet, little guy who loves to please.  His favorite treats are Greenies.  He also likes Bully Sticks as a special treat every once in a while.   He is crated trained and good on leash. Bumper would like to be an only pet in the home, giving all his love to his person. Bumper has a tendency to want to fight with other dogs that are shy and/or timid.  He is also very strong with a typical breed herding instinct, so children in the new home should be at least 13 years old, unless the family is very experienced with understanding the breed. If you are interested in Bumper, please fill out an application at: https://reachoutrescue.rescuegroups.org/forms/form?formid=4588    Or contact: rorrcanine@gmail.com   *** Click here to sponsor this dog! ***Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.November 5, 2024, 5:13 pm

She is excited about learning what you want her to know and do, and can't wait to get started. At only one year old, she is just out of puppyhood, but beyond chewing on everything in sight as she already has all her beautiful white big girl teeth. Since she is so young, she should have many years to play in your yard and go on wonderful walks with you, in fact, an entire lifetime! This rescue has helped her along by getting her a full vet check up and all her shots for you. She is healthy, happy, and ready to go. A SPECIAL NOTE TO YOU FROM HER FOSTER: This sweet girl SO loves 'her' person!!! Is that person you? Our foster girl is a playful fun loving, skittish but oh SO sweet pup!! She is 100% housetrained & has free roam of the home when we are away. She will need a physical fence & another playful dog in her forever home.If you are interested in Sasha, please fill out an application at: https://reachoutrescue.rescuegroups.org/forms/form?formid=4588    Or contact: rorrcanine@gmail.com   *** Click here to sponsor this dog! ***Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.March 14, 2025, 2:43 am

Story
Hi! I`m Moose and I`m in foster currently, this is what my foster would love you to know....`Moose is a lover boy. He has excellent house manners and a very gentle demeanor when he trusts you. He takes treats very softly even when he is excited. He’s a great dog for anyone with a relaxed lifestyle, as he’s happiest when he’s able to just relax in the presence of other humans. He forms attachments quickly to his owners and takes the role of being a guard dog seriously! He doesn’t shed much. Enjoys hugs and comes immediately whenever you call his name. He loves cheese, cheese and more cheese, chewing ice cubes, walks, hiding his bones, cuddling, pets, being your shadow *anywhere and everywhere.*`Interested in adopting me? I am currently in a foster home so if you`d like to meet me, please complete an online adoption application and either send us an email at animalcenter@bmorehumane.org or give us a call at 410-833-8848 Ext 2 so we can coordinate a meet!

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Please contact Cheryl (lovemy4eskies@gmail.com) for more information about this pet.Casper has come back in to rescue after 12 years as his owner is no longer able to care for him.  He seems to like men more than woman however he does spend time with me but he prefers my boyfriend.  He loves to take walks and seems to do pretty good. He is house broke but may have some accidents in the beginning as he is getting used to things and if other dogs in the home and if you're gone too long.  He has a backyard to run around in and has not tried to get out but it's best to make sure your fence is secured if you are going to let him out there unattended.  He tries to play with my senior blind boy (who did not play when he could see) so he would do best I think in a home that has a dog he could play with however a meet and greet would be a good idea if possible.  He does pretty good with children over 10 but he is skittish so not sure how he would do with younger kids.  I am not sure he will ever get over being skittish so it might be best if he was in a quiet home with little chaos.   I also did a DNA test on him and he is as follows:        54% Australian Cattle Dog        42% American Eskimo Dog        2% Chihuahua        1% Border Collie        1% Pomeranian Casper is a special boy and I will be looking for the perfect home for him.  If your interested please email me at lovemy4eskies@gmail.com He is being fostered in Ridgley, MD.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet. Whenever possible Eskie Rescuers United tries to adopt out its dogs locally (or at least to adopters in adjoining states to where I'm being fostered). Please note that ERU processes LOCAL adoption applications before considering those from out of state. If I'm not local to you, as explained above, and you really have your heart set on me, you will have to make special arrangements so ERU can get me to you safely (for example, flying me to you at your own expense, or paying a transport group to drive me to you). Note: We may ask that you to make a donation to cover transport costs if the distance is great and we have trouble finding transport drivers. There is an adoption fee required; and, please be aware, Eskie Rescuers United will not adopt out its dogs as outdoor dogs. Eskie Rescuers United American Eskimo Dog Rescue, Inc. is an IRS-approved 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Please click the donation button below to make a tax-deductible donation through PayPal and help make a difference to even one American Eskimo dog!                                                       December 27, 2024, 3:44 pm
