Hey there, I’m Cassandra, a 3-year-old, 29-pound heeler mix, and I’ve got the perfect balance of playfulness, intelligence, and serious snuggle skills! Originally from a crowded shelter in South Carolina, I’ve been patiently waiting for my forever home — one that understands my quirky personality and active mind. Let’s get one thing straight: I am part dog, part gymnast, and 100% Velcro companion. I can leap over other dogs like an Olympic athlete, keep up on an adventure, and then settle in for some quality cuddle time. I’m house-trained, easy to walk, and love using my brain, whether it’s for sniffing missions, puzzle toys, or learning new tricks (yes, I am a certified doggy genius). Now, let’s talk about what I’m looking for. Kids? Not my thing. I get overwhelmed by little humans, so I’d prefer a home with adults or older teens (14+). Cats? Meh. I was fine at first, but in a home setting, I decided they were a little too interesting. I’d do best without them. Dogs? Absolutely! I get along great with pups my size or larger, especially if they like to play — but I do like to be the center of attention, so if there’s another dog in the home, they’ll need to be patient while I work on sharing my humans.
