Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Meet Indigo and his cool ears! Indigo is in a NJ foster home.    Indigo was adopted through Wag On Inn about 4 years ago, but due to changes in his family situation, and through no fault of his own, he needs a new home. He is very loving with people he is familiar with and friendly overall but since the baby was born he takes a little time to warm up with strangers coming into his house.   Indigo loves other dogs and is good with kids. He has been to doggy day care and also to dog parks and loves to play. He currently lives with a young toddler, but might be better suited in an home with older kids. He  likes his toys and baths and exercise. He is a little nervous on car rides, but tolerates it. Indigo is well behaved at home, affectionate, crate trained and is house trained. He is up to date with vaccines, preventatives, and is microchipped and neutered. Could this handsome sweet guy be your new best friend? Here is here in NJ ready to meet you! Indigo's  adoption fee is $450.      How to Adopt Me!  If you are interested in learning more about me, and possibly making me part of your family, please go to   wagoninn.rescuegroups.org  . Click on the orange Online Adoption Application button to fill out an application. A Wag On Inn volunteer will be in touch soon! Story
Meet Cherry! If a long walk or hike is your thing, Cherry can't wait to join you. When you're done, she will happily snuggle with you on the couch and give you lots of hugs and kisses to let you know how much she appreciates you. If this sounds like a great day to you, then Cherry may be your perfect match! Cherry is a 3-year-old, 60-lb female Red Heeler who loves lots of exercise, would love a job, and will reward her human with cuddles, kisses, and companionship. She is a typical Heeler - incredibly smart, wants to perform, and is the ultimate protector! She can get overstimulated by lots going on in her home so she should be the only pet and would prefer to live in a home with adults (older kids may be okay). She tends to find younger children to be a bit too much and is still trying to figure out how strong she actually is so, a home without small children is best. Important note: Cherry needs an adopter that has experience with a herding breed and is willing and able to work with her on some behavior modification. If you are willing to commit to her, she will be the best companion you've ever had! Cherry is currently being fostered in the Corning, NY area. To adopt this animal, please visit https://www.louieslegacy.org/adopt All of our animals come spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, are microchipped, heartworm negative, current on flea/tick and heartworm prevention, dewormed, and treated for any ailments found upon veterinary examination. The adoption fee covers a portion of these services, and makes it possible for us to continue rescuing animals. For more information on the adoption fees and the adoption process, please complete our adoption application here: https://www.louieslegacy.org/adopt - an application allows us to get to know your family better so we can assess whether the animal you are interested in is a good match for your home. An application does not obligate you to adopt. Please understand that due to the volume of applications some animals receive, we are unable to contact all applicants. If your application is considered a good fit for the animal you are interested in, or even a different pet, a volunteer will give you a call as soon as possible. We are a foster based rescue and do not have a shelter location where animals can be seen during the week. Please see our Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/LouiesLegacy for our weekly adoption album if you are interested in meeting an animal in person. Not all animals attend every adoption event, please check our Facebook page for animal event times and locations before you make a trip to meet a specific animal.

Story
Meet Annie! Annie is a 4 month old, 20lb Blue Heeler/Australian Cattle Dog Mix who loves snuggling and playing with her ropes and toy slipper. She is a beautiful pup a sweet friendly disposition. Annie is a gentle pup who loves children and other dogs, and has even become playmates with her foster's parrot. She sleeps in her crate throughout the night and stays quiet during the day in her crate when I have to go out. She loves to go out on the back deck and play in the snow and goes to the bathroom out there too. She does still occasionally go in the wee wee pad her foster family keeps in the house. Some of her favorite games are playing chase with the kids and jumping around with all her toys. But most of all she loves cuddling with her humans at night while watching tv and playing with her 5 year old human foster sister. If you’re looking for a gentle, sweet, fun puppy, she might be your perfect match. Annie is currently being fostered in Staten Island, NY. Her adoption fee is $500.
