Story
Coco is an energetic sweetie pie that is always ready for his next belly rub. He’s a huge fan of stuffed toys and will play until he drops. He has recently taken a fancy to Miss Piggy and carries her all over the house. At not quite a year old he requires supervision to stay out of trouble, but given a solid supply of toys he sees little reason to wreak havoc in your home. 😊 We proudly proclaim zero potty accidents indoors! Coco is an enthusiastic eater but we always feed our pups separately and haven’t had any problems. He’s also very treat motivated and willing to learn! Coco loves every member of my family, young and old, and would be in heaven with children to play with. Coco is an absolute delight and will make an excellent addition to any loving family.

Story
Pips is a young and healthy Cattle Dog / Border Collie mix, 50 lbs weight, with blue heeler coloring. When I rescued him in February of 2023, the vet estimated him at 2 years old, making him 3-4 years old now. He was already neutered when I adopted him, and I have kept him up to date on all his vaccines. He takes one capsule of anxiety medication every morning. He's a sweetheart with all kinds of people, extremely eager to please, loves cuddles and head-butts, and very food motivated for easy training. He has typical high energy for the breed and loves to run. He was skittish and dog-aggressive initially, but has calmed down significantly with dedicated training. He is now mostly only reactive when leash walking, but his high energy and playful nature can sometimes frighten smaller or older dogs. I'd love for him to find a permanent home with lots of yard space or a farm to run around, or an active owner that wants to include him in frequent outdoor activities.

Story
This sweet girl is a Cattle Dog rescued by Piedmont Animal Rescue from Western NC, and her journey is nothing short of inspiring! When she first came into foster care, she was completely shut down and terrified of the world around her. But with love, patience, and the companionship of her foster brothers and sisters, she’s blossoming in ways we couldn’t have imagined thanks to our partners at Elevation K9 Training. Her Amazing Progress: • She’s now eating comfortably alongside her foster siblings. • She plays and seeks out engagement from people she once feared. • She’s building confidence with every new field trip and exposure to the world. This beautiful girl still has some learning and growing to do, but her progress shows she’s on the path to becoming a wonderful, loyal companion. She’s looking for a forever family that can continue helping her discover how amazing life can be. Could you be the one to show her the love and stability she deserves? Story
Meet Nora! Nora is a petite and sweet 2 year old Australian Cattle Dog/Blue Heeler mix that weighs about 30lbs.. She loves her foster siblings (3 dogs and a cat).  Nora is interested in the cat, but she is not aggressive and backs away when told. Nora is fully housebroken and sleeps on a dog bed at night.  A secure fenced yard would be a plus as she loves to be outside and run and play with other dogs.  She really likes to be with her person and would love to snuggle on the couch at the end of the day.  Nora can be a little shy at first, but she is a wonderful, sweet girl and has come a long way in a short time. Nora's ideal home would be with a woman, as she can be a bit skittish around men. If you are a patient, caring woman, looking for a loyal companion, Nora hopes you apply, because she can't wait to meet you!    Applications can be filled out at www.piedmontanimalrescue.com/adopt!  Petfinder and Adopt-A-Pet does NOT send us Applications.   We receive many applications and many never respond after processing GREATLY delaying the pets forever home.  Please only apply if you are serious about adopting.  Please also make sure your pets are up to date on you species applicable Vaccines (rabies, Distemper/Parvo, FVRCP, Bordetella), spayed/neutered, and on Heartworm prevention if a canine.   The adoption fee includes their age appropriate vaccinations(DA2PP and Bordetella), Dewormer, spay/neuter, microchip, heartworm test as well as the registration of their microchip information to you.
