Story
Hi my name is Flower! I was saved from the shelter with just moments to spare and I'm so thankful for that. I love to race around and play, but I also love a good nap! I need a family who is active outdoors so I can romp around and get my energy out.  I am crate trained and house trained. I have been to board and train to work on my leash manners. Are you ready to be my fur-ever family? ##1636567##

Story
I found this sweet girl near Kimball Point at Kerr Lake, close to the Virginia border. Asked nearby neighbors but no one claimed her. She had no collar and checked her for a chip - NONE. I want to find her a responsible, loving home with a fenced in yard and room to run, someone that is going to pay her lots of attention and love her, spay her and take care of her good health and medical needs. I have taken her to the vet to get all vaccines, get spayed and chipped. She is: Quite well mannered! Very friendly! Such a lover! Gives great hugs! Loves, loves, loves to ride in the car! She’s a great swimmer! Loves to play ball and fetches pretty good! Around 40 lbs. Think she is 10-12 months old. Potty trained, uses my dog door to go out in fenced yard on her own without me directing her to do so. Loves to sleep on my couch and bed with me. (I'm such a sucker! Ha-ha!) Has tons of energy. Winnie at least needs a fenced in yard or lots of property to run.

Story
There really aren't many words for this guy...at least we can't find many, because there is something SO adorable and lovable about his cute self that we're totally smitten and speechless! That being said, we have to share him with you and are so confident that you will fall hard too that it won't take long for him to head home. Flounder is a cattle dog mix who weighs 32 lbs full grown. He definitely has something mixed in there and in the right light looks a little Boston Terrier too. Flounder wiggles, waggles and can't stand still when in the company of people and hands out about the best kisses hands down. Flounder is a guy who can be friend selective with other dogs and would like to meet any potential siblings before adopting though he surely is open. A great size, Flounder can keep up like the big dogs and lap snuggle like the small ones. He is a lover and whoever lands this little hunka man is going to be SO lucky.

Story
Key words: • chill vibes• affectionate• Affectionate towards people• not good with other dogs• heartworm positive; ongoing treatment• good working from home• not a barkerMy name is Rolando, but you can call me Rolly, and I am an 8 year old Australian cattle dog mix.I was at the Wake County Animal Shelter from June to July before going home with a foster family. If you want a low-maintenance, chill-energy dog, then I'm the one you're looking for.I enjoy lounging, looking for affection, and walks (which have to be shorter because I'm heartworm positive).I love meeting new people. If I see someone, I will want to go say hi, which is great, because I'm a big hit in this neighborhood! However, I am very up-front with other dogs and can't help myself with boundaries - I like to go right up to them and this is off-putting to most other dogs. For this reason, I need to be monitored closely when I'm around other dogs.I'm neutered, housebroken, and receiving treatment for my heartworms and I'm ready to bring love and affection to a new family. Primary Color: Tri Color Weight: 41 Age: 8yrs 2mths 0wks

Story
Meet Ursa!  Ursa is a spunky girl with tons of personality.  She loves car rides more than anything else in the world, so if you're looking for a travel companion, she's your girl!  She also loves hiking, socializing, and playing with her friends.  She's great with other dogs but loves her humans most of all.  She would do best in a home without small children because her love for them is sometimes overwhelming.  Ursa settles down well in her crate when it's time to go to sleep at night and is SO happy to see you in the morning when it's time to get up -- and the happiest tail in the world will let you know that!  Ursa's number one goal in life is to find a family that just wants her to hang out with them.  She's an expert sous chef, assistant laundry-folder, and dishwashing supervisor.  As long as she can hang with you, she doesn't care what the activity is!  If you're looking for a buddy to keep you company, Ursa is the perfect pup!   Apply to meet her at pipsrescue.org/adopt ##1667875##
