These pups were born in April. Their current living situation doesn't allow them room to run and play. Have to be walked on a leash. They are housebroken with supervision. They LOVED kids, and other dogs and are even good with the kitties (but I am sure are annoying little pups from the cat's point of view.) They have been neutered and have gotten their rabies vaccination. Jesse is such a sweet boy. If you're looking for a calm, relaxed companion who follows you everywhere, Jesse is the dog for you! He wants nothing more than to lay at your feet and just be your companion. He does well in a harness, but can pull a little. He doesn't jump up on you. Knows sit and lay down and we're working on stay. Good with cats and kids. Jesse was attacked by some dogs in his own yard. He was surrendered and has had a long journey of healing. His back leg does not work as well as we were hoping, but it doesn’t slow him down. He was treated for heartworms, and has made a complete recovery. Jesse needs a home with a calm dog and loving family.

Please meet Miss Haven! Haven is an approximately 4.5-year old female Cattle Dog/Shepherd mix and weighs around 70 lb. She was adopted as a puppy and returned as an adult when the adopter no longer had time for her. Haven is very affectionate and loves her adult people! Once she is comfortable with her environment, she is playful and social. She is very loyal. Haven is not a fan of children (we think they just make her nervous) or most other dogs, especially energetic dogs. This handsome boy is Cooper! Cooper is an approximately 4-year old male Cattle Dog / Retriever mix who weighs around 50 lbs. He was adopted as a puppy and through no fault of his own ended up at a local animal shelter, where we retrieved him. Cooper is a very affectionate and happy boy! He is always ready for some fun! He can be selective with his friends, so he will need to meet any other dogs in the home prior to adoption. He requires a secure stockade fenced back yard as he can jump a 4 foot chain link fence. He could be an only dog if given lots of attention and exercise and included in activities with his human(s). Cooper is crate trained, was house-trained at one time but may need a refresher course and walks best with a harness type leash. Finneas is a bundle of excitement and energy. He needs daily exercise and mental stimulation. He is crate trained and house trained. Finneas has come a long way, but still requires time to warm up to certain people and dogs…which is improving daily. It will be best to let him warm up and familiarize himself with his environment before starting to experience dogs and other people. He has a specific procedure on meeting new people and dogs that helps his ability to warm up quicker. I recommend his future foster/adopt continue to follow it for the best results…I’m committed to continue being available to help them in the process. A home with a non-dominant dog would be best if there are other dogs. I would recommend no small children due to his trust issues…and NO CATS. Meet Copper! Copper is a very sweet, active and playful guy! He is about 12-18 months old, and at his last vet visit weighed in at 51 pounds. We think Copper probably has some Australian Shepherd, along with several other breeds including possibly Belgian Shepherd. Greyhound or Carolina dog. Copper is a beautiful and happy boy. He’s lucky to be alive! Copper came to us from the shelter at a time when he was minutes from losing his life because he had an upper respiratory infection. We are so glad he is with us now, and we will find his perfect forever home for him! Copper does well in a crate, he also does well on a leash. Copper would love to be a hiking or running buddy! His foster mom said he is doing well at learning house training. Copper loves to play with his doggy friends especially tug-of-war with the big rope toys and will do wonderful at a daycare or dog park with other active and playful dogs!
