Story
This story is from Kevins rescuer, the police officer. We got a call about a puppy being tied on a vacant properties porch and possibly someone trespassing on the property. Once I arrived on the property, no one could be located, but the puppy was tied to a porch railing and left with no food or water. I contacted John with Baker Bridge Rescue who agreed to help me, of which I was very grateful. I then secured the pup shortly after. A couple folks floating on the river were very relieved to see the dog being taken care of!. Since getting Kevin home with us, he has gained weight and found that people can be good. He is learning potty training and playing with the other dogs. He loves playing with toys. If you are interested in learning more about Kevin (puppy), please email BakerBridgeRescue@aol.com and ask for an application. Once we review it, we will call you. We transport every other week to a location near you with the most animal friendly transport - Rescue Riders Transport.

Story
This precious girl came from one of the worst hoarding situations that we have ever dealt with. there were over 100 dogs on the property, none of them spayed or neutered. Finally, the authorities went in and they managed to get ALL of the dogs out of there. Filthy dirty situation, sick puppies, you name it. We choose to take Blossom home to our rescue because her eyes were begging us for love and attention. She was very pregnant and two weeks after arriving, she gave birth to 7 heathy puppies! Every single puppy was different, every singe puppy had a different daddy! We think that Blossom had never been paid any attention to because she was so shy. Once we weaned her babies we took her out of the nursery and into the house where she just blossomed! That's how she got her name! Her puppies have long since been adopted and now it's her turn. We actually did a DNA on her and it came back with 4 different breeds, which we kind of figured from the beginning. Australian Cattle Dog, Labrador Retriever, Pit Bull, Boxer. Yes, she is truly a "Mutt!: She is extremely smart and will do anything for a treat. I want her to have a nice fenced yard with lots of room to run. Cattle dogs are working dogs and they need lots of exercise! She is spayed, crate trained, fully vaccinated, microchipped and house broken, truly a gem! Ready for immediate transport. ADOPTION FEE $400 PLEASE NOTE THAT WE ARE LOCATED IN TENNESSEE AND YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO MEET OUR PETS PRIOR TO ADOPTION!

This puppy is in Tennessee. Adoption Donation FREE if picked up in TN, $100 plus transport fee for out-of-state adoptions. Meet Millie, a 37-pound bundle of energy and love! This 11-month-old Heeler / Beagle mix has a heart as big as her playful spirit. Whether she’s chasing after a ball, splashing in the water, or going on a hike, Millie’s enthusiasm is infectious. She’s always up for an adventure, but after a day of fun, she’ll happily snooze the rest of the day away—right by your side, of course! Millie is sweet and gentle with everyone she meets—kids, dogs, cats—you name it! She’s a little shy at first, especially around new people and dogs, but with a bit of patience, she blossoms into a loyal and playful companion. Watching her come out of her shell and show off her happy self is truly heartwarming. Millie’s already learning the ropes with commands like “sit,” “come,” and “drop it.” She’s also housetrained and crate-trained, making her the perfect addition to an active home that loves long walks and playtime. Story
Misha is an approximately five year old Australian Cattle Dog mix who is looking for her forever home. She was abandoned by her original owner but someone stepped in and welcomed Misha into their home and horse farm, and quickly found she is accustomed to being on a farm around horses and other farm animals and where acclimated well to her new life. She is currently living with a foster family but is separated from the other dogs in the house as she needs to be the only dog. Misha is sweet, very energetic, and extremely intelligent. She can be hesitant when meeting new people, but after spending time and gaining trust she will melt your heart once you get to know her. Misha enjoys exercising and playing with her toys (especially her frisbees). She loves to play outside and would be best as an only dog with a large yard to run, or even a farm to put her to work and keep her busy! Our adult dog adoption fee is $350 which includes each animal is fixed, up to date on core vaccines, microchipped, heartworm &/or 4dx tested, kept on monthly preventions, and dewormed. As you can see below, Tex and Charlie really love each other. We wanted to adopt them as a bonded pair but it has proven to be to much. She loves to play pools and interact with people and other animals. Charlie has shown no aggression with the barn cats and they do not seem to bother her at all. Story
Hi, I’m Nye! I’m a blue heeler with a lot of personality, and I’m looking for my forever home. I was surrendered to the shelter when my owners lost their home—it wasn’t anything I did, just a tough situation. Now, I’m ready to find a new family who’ll love me just as much as my old one did. I’m a bit of a character! I love playing with toys, especially if it means running around and keeping busy. Once I get to know you, I’ll be your best buddy, and I really enjoy spending time with my humans. I’ll admit, I can be a little cautious at first, so it might take me a few meets to warm up and trust you. But once I do, I’m a loyal, affectionate dog who’ll stick by your side. Because I’m full of energy and love to stay active, I’d do best in an active home where I can get plenty of exercise and mental stimulation. If you’re looking for a fun, playful companion who’ll keep you on your toes, I might just be the perfect fit for you. Let’s take this journey together! Story
Meet River, ARPH #14663, an 18 month old neutered red tri male with a higher energy level. He’s up to date on shots and preventatives; is housebroken, crate trained, and has been very good in his crate at night or when left alone at his foster home. River came to ARPH through no fault of his own from a home with two other dogs and a couple cats. Originally adopted from a shelter, he got along well with his doggy sister, but the older, intact male dog did not appreciate having River around. The situation was escalating, and the owners made the hard decision to find River a new home. River LOVES Frisbee, fetch, toys, and according to his former owners, he also loves to swim. He loves being around his people and learning new things. He already knows sit, down, shake, let it go; roll-over. River has a consistent recall when he’s not distracted by the squirrels. He was seldom on leash in his previous home, so his leash manners are a work in progress. He’s a very quick learner though, and very food motivated. He is getting used to the leash and is learning to wait before going out the door. River would do well in a home with a female playmate or as an only dog. He did live with dog savvy cats but tended to resource guard with them. No children under 16. The right home would have a traditionally fenced yard and would be someone willing to take the time to continue River's training. He definitely needs regular, consistent exercise and might be able to do dog sports or tricks. He'll be a wonderful companion and a lot of fun in the right home. River is fostered in southeast PA. Are you the perfect home for River? If so and you are already approved, please contact Kay at bluedawg7@gmail.com If interested and have not yet been approved, please submit an application for adoption at www.aussierescue.org
