Story
Our pretty little Lab/Shepherd mix girl named Faith, is small but mighty at 16 pounds and 4 months old.   This girl is a memorable character that is feisty and full of personality! This girl is the definition of DIVA and Faith appreciates a home with many soft beds, more toys than she will ever play with, and all of the cutest outfits. She loves toys and is always in a playful mood!  You can see it in her eyes that Faith is a high energy dog that gets bored easily and needs stimulation type toys and a regular exercise schedule. She is crate trained and needs to continue this for potty training reinforcement. Faith is currently living with dogs, cats and children. She has been doing well but we recommend a slow introduction to any new ones in her furever home. It needs to be a controlled situation. First introduction needs to be secure and calm then she will do very well.  We don’t know her past but she came to us absolutely terrified of new experiences and most all new people. She is not scared anymore but everything needs to be introduced slowly to her.  She needs to be on a food schedule with scheduled feedings and no free feeding by leaving out food 24/7.  She is searching for her furever that will allow her to be the cutest princess in all the land.   If you are interested please get in touch with us at ccrtennessee@gmail.com   She is ready to go! PLEASE NOTE:   Our dogs and cats are fostered in Tennessee and can transport weekly up to the Northeast region.  Request an application and learn more about Critter Cavalry at https://www.crittercavalry.com/adoption.March 9, 2025, 8:45 pm

Story
This handsome red heeler mix puppy is called Ernie and he and his brother Bert and their mom were found in a barn where they had been raised by their stray mother. Their mother was barely hanging on to life. The happy ending to her story is she is living with a wonderful family now and is loved and Ernie is looking for a wonderful family too raise him, love him, and bring his own special joy to. Ernie is a really delightful and well adjusted 6-month-old puppy that weighs 26 lb. He is a friendly little guy that enjoys meeting people and loves to chase a ball and bring it back to you. His innocence and love for life is contagious. He craves being with people that like him and speak kind words to him. He will crawl in your lap and be your best little buddy. His foster mom who raised he and his brother Bert says that he has the best temperament and personality. Recently this little guy went to a yoga class at the YMCA and had so much fun. It was a totally new and unique environment and he handled it with great poise and embraced all of the Zen vibes going on. Ernie is housebroken, crate trained, loves being around other cats and dogs alike and adores children. There isn't a living creature on this earth that he doesn't like. He is learning quite well,  how to walk on a leash and he rides in a car like a pro. He would be a great dog to take for hikes, long walks, outdoor events and adventures, and of course he would be a hit at any family reunions. Ernie is ready to call a family and their home his very own. My name is Cancun and I am a little 3 month  old red Heeler mix pup that is just as cute and fun as you can imagine from my looks.  I am 12 pounds and was just neutered last week and completed all of my shots and wormings and am fully ready to spread my wings and find my own dog pad in this world.  My foster mom found me and my sister and brother on her front porch steps in a box and she never knew who left us there. She said that word is out that she has a big heart and does rescue work.  Well I am thankful for her and what kind of care she has given us.  I love other dogs, adore cats and I am a great little guy to play with people at all times. I am working on potty training but as you can guess I am not there yet because I am too young.  I need leash training and I do understand about crates and why I have to love being in one.   If you are interested in me please write to Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrtennessee@gmail.com   I will be a 25-30 pound boy when I grow up.  Just the perfect smallish medium boy that will have lots of positive energy and lots of smarts!  PLEASE NOTE:   Our dogs and cats are fostered in Tennessee and can transport weekly up to the Northeast region.  Request an application and learn more about Critter Cavalry at https://www.crittercavalry.com/adoption.January 22, 2025, 12:51 pm

Story
Alfie is just the sweetest boy who is only 10 months old, weighs 48 pounds and has overcome so much in his young life.  This boy has overcome such a deep shyness with meeting new people and his foster mom has helped him learn confidence and the acceptance of affection from people.   He is a kind and sweet dog that is a medium energy, a kind spirit and good with other creatures in his life.  He is good with cats, dogs and just needs a slow introduction with new people. He loves his walks on the leash in the neighborhood and they have helped him build such a confidence that he never had when he first came to Critter Cavalry Rescue.  He is a Blue Heeler mix and we think he is oh so handsome. This boy loves and relishes going on walks....he jumps for excitement and joy when you reach for the leash.   Alfie is going to be a special rescue dog for someone.  Someone with patience and the desire to see a dog blossom every day in to a radiant soul that will make you the center of his universe and love.  If you would like to consider this boy please write to Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrtennessee@gmail.com ADOPTION FEE REQUIRED. Story
This pretty little blue healer girl is only 8 to 9 months old and weighs 22 -25  pounds, with a little more to grow.  We have named her blue lacey, and we think her adult weight will be somewhere between 25-30 pounds tops. She and her sister Blue Sierra were found as strays, wandering on an expansive farm property in Middle Tennessee.  The girls had no collars, and were cold and hungry.  Blue Lacey is a beautiful girl that is a 'people pleaser'.  She will follow you like a little shadow and try to do whatever you ask her to do.   She is a smart and strong personality like the Heeler breed embodies.   We are looking for someone with hurting breed. Experience and appreciates he degrees, blinding action working. Its way into the nooks and crannies, their intense devotion to their family and the activity level that they require every day to stay on top of their best physical needs and mental stimulation.  This girl is beautiful inside and out and she is available. Now, if you contact Critter, Cavalry, Rescue at ccrtennessee@gmail.com      ADOPTION FEE REQUIRED. Story
Meet Alice, our darling brown and white girl that has the most memorable face and sky high ears you have ever seen.   This girl was born around the middle of May and is thought to be combination of lots of breed influences.   For starters we think that Cattle Dog and Aussie might be a mixture that are dominant for her.  She is one smart little girl that adorable her foster family and all the other big dogs (several German Shepherds are her mentors and big sisters) and many foster cats are present as well in the home.  Her boundless happy puppy energy catapults her through the days as she grows in to a true beauty inside and out.  She is so playful and loving and always ready for the next BIG ADVENTURE!  She loves to chase toys and explore the backyard for new things to do and maybe a few squirrels to make friends with.  She absorbs whatever you teach her like a sponge.  Her foster mom is an excellent trainer and knows the importance of teaching manners and commands.  Her friendly nature makes her easy to meet new people and she is does not shy away from new experiences either.  She is a snuggler when she is tired and very loving as she sits beside you to watch a good TV show.  This girl will be an excellent recall pup since she is learning that now and is so eager to please and be with her humans.  If you are interested in this beauty who will grow to be a 45-50 pound girl, please email Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrtennessee@gmail.com   Let us know where you live: city and state when you are inquiring. Story
Hi, everyone. My name is Special Stella, and I am a beloved, fun, well-trained 5 year old Yellow Lab/Aussie mix girl that is only 50 pounds and who is looking for a new home without young children.  I have been with my young couple, mom and dad.For the past four years, and I have been very happy and loved. And during that time, it was discovered that young energetic children made me nervous.   Now my mom and dad are having a baby and they say it would be best if I went to a home with no young young children and yeah, would be best.If I was the only dog unless I lived with a submissive male, that would not challenge me to be the top dog.   I have lived with a cat and my only bad habit is I love cat food. I am housebroken and crate, trained and leash trained, and I know commands. And I am a very good girl. That will be your buddy, rick riding around town and your suv or a pickup truck or going out on the lake in the boat for the summer months.  I'm really a good girl, but I just have 2 things that I probably do. Don't meet in my life and that is a dominant dog around me and young children. That are you being what god made them to be,  young, energetic and loud and sometimes a little too quick to make movements that make me nervous.   We are all heartbroken that I have to find a new home. Critter Cavalry promised my Dad, who originally adopted me just to be his buddy before he got married, that they would help me find the perfect place for me to live out the next ten years or more of my life.   I promise to be the best companion you've ever had.   Please consider me to come and live with you and watch TV. At your feet or go for hikes. In the woods or just take naps in the afternoon on a lazy Winter day.  I am fully vetted and microchipped and come with great dog manners and very few bad habits. Unless you have a cat and I try to eat their food.  Please consider me and write to Critter.Cavalry Rescue at ccrtennessee@gmail.com.  Tell them where you live: city and state.   They are based in Tennessee and not only adoot to Tennessee, but also transport to the Northeast.    ADOPTION FEE REQUIRED. Story
This precious girl is called Grammy, and she is a sweet 6-7 year old Aussie/Collie mix. She came from a very small town shelter in Tennessee where she very calmly waited for someone to come along and get her out of that very small concrete cell. She was found as a stray, and no one came to  claim her. Critter Cavalry was broken hearted knowing she was there alone in the tiny concrete cell. We got a temporary foster for her to get out and go to the vet. Grammy is 55 pounds and a beautiful girl that has only love to give and certainly in need of love herself. We know nothing about her except that she is VERY CHILL and needs to be in a home.  She loves to go for car rides and seems to have been going for rides in a former life. Grammy is partially deaf but that doesn't stop her from being an AWESOME dog. A foster home would be great as a temporary stepping stone while she waits for a family to give their heart and home to her.  This girl is housebroken and good with cats, other dogs (if they don't get in her space and face too quickly) and she doesn't need a crate because she is not destructive.   If you can help in some way, adopt or foster,  please contact Critter Cavalry Rescue. at ccrtennessee@gmail.com  or text us at 615 661 5333.  Please help us save Grammy  ADOPTION FEE REQUIRED.
