Story

Kain is a 4 yr old blue heeler (DOB 2/8/21). We are moving to a different country and cannot take him with us due to the circumstances of the move. He is neutered, UTD on vax, ~55 pounds. We got him at 8-wks and he has lived in one home. He is well-trained, house-trained, great recall, knows commands and LOVES to learn. True to his breed, he needs space to run hard, will go everywhere with you if you let him and tries to be helpful :-) He thrives with lots of activity, hiking, running, car-rides, kayaking, HERDING BALL, tug of war, puzzles, finding things. He has a quiet and observant temperament. He is great on and off leash and more protective on leash. He is well-socialized with people, children (after a period of monitoring and instruction), and with other dogs, somewhat with cats, chickens, goats. He is a good property guard once knowing boundaries and has experienced deer, racoon, bobcat, squirrels, bear. We are sad to rehome him and he would be happy with an active owner.

Charger was saved in TX and we have no foster for him in the PNW:( Charger is almost 2 years old. He was neutered when he came into rescue. He is very dog and human friendly. Active when released from kennel but calms down after tiring out. Dog and people friendly. Likely not good with cats but we do not know. All dogs come with a 5 day trial period. Please ask us how that works. Julio was found as a 6 week old puppy on the roadside. He has been a perfect gentleman in the house and has been raised by the old timers and seniors who have taught him proper manners. He loves to play with Bruce and Lulu, has learned to play in the kiddy pools, and is fully house trained. He is mixed with shepherd, hound, red heeler best guess. He likes some snuggles, sleeps under the bed or the coffee table. he's quiet and overall just the best puppy ever. he will make a great family dog. apply at www.krrtx.org/forms Please note all dogs are located in San Antonio, TX.
