This little shy guy has a lot to offer his new family. Dutton has a typical heeler personality and behavior traits . He's very sweet and shy initially. Warms up slowly but is always very kind and respectful. He enjoys playing with other dogs . He's good with children just initially shy at first. He has a beautiful and wonderfully sweet disposition. He's being fostered by Ginny in Memphis, Tn. Once an application has been submitted and approved, Ginny would love to speak with you about him. He lives with another dog and two little adorable boys! Once adopted, Dutton will travel on Rescue Vet Transport to his new forever family. The Transport Company travels to the north east each and every weekend, leaving Memphis, Tennessee around 6 AM Friday morning, starting a group chat with adopters and drivers once departed and making stops along the way all the way up until West Greenwich, Rhode Island transport is an additional $185. So handsome in his medium length black and tan coat, it’s no wonder that he gets so much attention from everyone who passes by! Buzz is very sweet and friendly and does wonderfully with other dogs! Mojo was found as a stray and we made every effort to find his owners but to no avail. He is an Aussie mix and of course with the breed comes high activity. I will say that he loves his down time though! He is NOT an apartment dog. He needs a good sized fenced yard. He is not great in a crowd of dogs but will do well with a sister or brother to play with. He hasn't been tested with cats so we don't know about that. The vet believes his age to be about 6 years. He's neutered, vaccinated, crate trained and heart worm negative. He is more than ready for his forever home! This precious girl came from one of the worst hoarding situations that we have ever dealt with. there were over 100 dogs on the property, none of them spayed or neutered. Finally, the authorities went in and they managed to get ALL of the dogs out of there. Filthy dirty situation, sick puppies, you name it. We choose to take Blossom home to our rescue because her eyes were begging us for love and attention. She was very pregnant and two weeks after arriving, she gave birth to 7 heathy puppies! Every single puppy was different, every singe puppy had a different daddy! We think that Blossom had never been paid any attention to because she was so shy. Once we weaned her babies we took her out of the nursery and into the house where she just blossomed! That's how she got her name! Her puppies have long since been adopted and now it's her turn. We actually did a DNA on her and it came back with 4 different breeds, which we kind of figured from the beginning. Australian Cattle Dog, Labrador Retriever, Pit Bull, Boxer. Yes, she is truly a "Mutt!. She is extremely smart and will do anything for a treat. I want her to have a nice fenced yard with lots of room to run. Cattle dogs are working dogs and they need lots of exercise! She is spayed, crate trained, fully vaccinated, microchipped and house broken, truly a gem! Ready for immediate transport. Critter Cavalry Rescue is trying to help several dogs like Lyla out of a small rural shelter that is cramped and hard on the spirit of the kind of dog like Lyla. She came to the shelter as an owner surrender forced by the animal control of the shelter. She and her sister were being crated 24.7 just about and this was negligent and cruel. She has been in this little shelter for almost 3 months now and her Blue Heeler spirit is just being stifled to get out and have some time to roam a yard, go for a fun run of fetch the ball or just be sleeping on a soft cozy dog bed at your feet. It is just hard on the spirit when these dogs are stashed away and unnoticed and very little attention except to feed them. She is 1-2 years old and 38 pounds. She is mostly Heeler from what we can tell but on the darker side and she is warm and friendly but cautious too because of the confinement she has experienced.
