Story

In the spring of 2023, we got a call about 4 dogs who were in bad shape and living in the woods a couple of hours from me. We set traps and were able to rescue 2 of the 4. We tried and tried to get the other 2, but we were unable to do so. Some of the local people continued to try to get them, as well, but couldn’t. I am still very sad about having to leave them behind. Chester and Chloe were near death when we rescued them. They were starving, their skin was horrible, and of course, they had every known parasite. They are healthy now. Chloe is still very shy, and I feel that she needs a special home with a lot of love, patience and attention! We do not see any aggression in her. She has been at Blue Ribbon Kennels now for 14 months and needs a forever and loving home so badly. She has never had the opportunity to live inside a house and to be part of a family. Chloe is in Mississippi. When adopted, she will come fully vetted and will be transported by Rescue Riders, a very reliable transporter. All of this is included in her adoption fee.

Meet Tex, a sweet boy of about 9 months. A true cattle dog!! Their foster parents have been very attentive to him and his sister Charlie. It shows in their behavior and personalities. As you can see below, Tex LOVES water!!!! He thinks he is a fish!!! He loves play pools and if there's not a play pool, he will try to get in a 5gal bucket with his front paws. He's very playful and wants to be around people. Loves people! He has done well with our five dogs and a new barn cat. I would not recommend chickens. Sadly he wants to play with them! He would be wonderful in a family setting... We are only asking for transport cost to PA, RI or other states in which we travel to! These are two super sweet kind dogs and will provide your home with unconditional love and joyous laughter. Meet Casper - Casper is about 11 months old and weighs about 47 lbs. Casper's foster mom did a DNA test and the results are in - Pitbull, German Shepherd, Labrador, Boxer, Husky and Belgian Malinois! What a mix! Casper is a very sweet, charming, intelligent pup who is full of energy:) Casper is a happy pup who will keep you entertained. He is great with other dogs, but we have no idea on cats. Casper is doing great with house training and crate training. Puppies will require an adopter who is at home a good portion of the day to continue training - no exceptions!
