Story
Meet Mister! Mister came to CCHS as a stray earlier this January from the Granton area. This stunning, 2-year-old Red Heeler mix currently weighs 44.2lbs of goofiness! While we can't for certain what his life was like before, however we believe that Mister might have been a farm dog prior to ending up with us, as he didn't seem to understand what leashes, or even what a collar, was for! Mister is a super smart guy and is a quick learner; just always looking for a job to do! Our hope for Mister is to get him back to the farm life, as we do believe he would be happiest in that environment. With any rescue, training and socialization are incredibly important to the success of the dog. Apply for Mister today!Approved applicants will be notified via email. Please check junk/spam folders for a response. The adoption fee is $200. Adoption applications can be filled out at CCHS or online through our website, www.cchs-petshelter.org. Applications are not first come, first served. All applications will be reviewed by the adoption committee and the home chosen will be the one considered to be the best match. All dogs and puppies have been vaccinated for Distemper and Bordetella, dewormed and microchipped. If old enough, they will be vaccinated for Rabies and blood tested for Heartworm, Lymes, Anaplasmosis and Ehrlichiosis. Dogs and puppies will be spayed or neutered before adoption. CCHS is proud to be a No-Kill Humane Society. As a private, non-profit charity, our work depends on donations and volunteers to keep going. We are committed to helping the animals that enter our doors and finding each the best possible forever home. CCHS has been inspected and licensed by the Department of Animal Health - DATCP. Our license is #268235-DS.

WE ARE A TX BASED RESCUE. THIS DOG IS CURRENTLY LOCATED IN TX AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED UPON ADOPTION. Please fill out an adoption application found at haydudeequine.org Precious - You are the bridge between what was and what will be, my pathway to a new life! Looking for a new FBF (furry best friend)? Look no further than Precious (hey, hey, that's me!) and I'm here looking to adopt me a family, a home...one I can say will be all mine! And since you're reading this, I'm hoping that you'll consider making ME a part of yours!!!! I is a sweet, adorable, and playful 3-month-old puppy that is super energetic and has that cuteness overload that will win over your heart with my charming personality. I is ready to start this next chapter in life with lots of puppy kisses, tail wags and playtime with my new family!! Me, my sisters and our mom were found dumped along the side of the road. This wonderful rescue took us in and just look at me now...I have that innocent spirit that loves living life to the fullest, that energy that loves exploring the world around me and that playful demeanor that finds joy in everything!! I loves to run around and play with toys and my siblings. I has a lot of energy and would be the perfect companion for an active family. I would also be a pawsomely perfect addition to your family as a 'sibling' or hogging all the attention as your one and only. I'm always up for an adventure - I can't wait to see what the world has in store for me! Even though I'm just a baby, I already weigh about 8lbs and I'm growing bigger and stronger by the day. If you're looking for a furry friend to join you on ALL your adventures, I'm the perfect gal for that job! I do great with people both tall and small but I do have those sharp lil teeth and nails. I get on great with my siblings and although I haven't had the pleasure of meeting any of those creatures y'all call a cat yet, at my tender age if introduced properly I should do fine with them too! Mom looks like a Cattledog/Bassett mix and dad was a traveling salespup sweet talking his way thru town. I am sooooo ready to unleash all this awesomeness on a family and be that lil heartbeat at your feet, so if you think I'd be a pawsome fit for you and your lifestyle, please stop scrolling and fill out my adoption application! It can be found at haydudeequine.org These beautiful sisters include - Precious, Fiesta, Annie, Skye and Misty
