Story
Meet Loki! Loki came to CCHS with his best friend Thor when their owner had some legal issues and had to go to jail. These boys are a mix of Australian Shepherd and Border Collie. Loki is about 1 year old and weighs 46.2#. He has a medium-length coat that is black and white and very soft. Thor is good boy although he can be a bit shy with people he doesn't know. He's also much more relaxed when he gets out of his kennel. Thor and Loki are best friends, and may be related too, we just don't know for sure. We do know that they love being with each other and will do best if adopted together. With any rescue dog, training and socialization is incredibly important to the success of the dog. Apply for Thor and Loki today!Approved applicants will be notified via email. Please check junk/spam folders for a response. The adoption fee is $200. Adoption applications can be filled out at CCHS or online through our website, www.cchs-petshelter.org. Applications are not first come, first served. All applications will be reviewed by the adoption committee and the home chosen will be the one considered to be the best match. All dogs and puppies have been vaccinated for Distemper and Bordetella, dewormed and microchipped. If old enough, they will be vaccinated for Rabies and blood tested for Heartworm, Lymes, Anaplasmosis and Ehrlichiosis. Dogs and puppies will be spayed or neutered before adoption. CCHS is proud to be a No-Kill Humane Society. As a private, non-profit charity, our work depends on donations and volunteers to keep going. We are committed to helping the animals that enter our doors and finding each the best possible forever home. CCHS has been inspected and licensed by the Department of Animal Health - DATCP. Our license is #268235-DS
