Story
Check out our Facebook page and YouTube channel for more pictures & videos of our adoptable dogs!Updated: 6/22/2024 Dog Name: Kylo Sex: Male Estimated Breed Mix: Australian Koolie Approximate Age: 2 years Approximate Weight: 20-25 lbs Description: Kylo was dumped out in the county in rural Texas. He was so happy to see someone stop to check on him, he clung onto them begging for help! He is doing so well in his Tx foster but he is eager to get to WI. He is loving and sweet, he has an adorable smile and is a dog who is eager to please! He went home with a family right after coming to Wisconsin, but it wasn't the right fit. Is your home right for him? Adoption Fee: $400We are a Wisconsin state licensed dog rescue -WI# 402433   ***We do not have a central adoption center at this time. All our dogs are in private foster homes within WI. At this time we only place our dogs in areas of WI. The breed of our dogs is our best guess with the help of our veterinarians. Our Weight Classes are as follows: 0- 25lbs - Small 26- 45lbs - Medium 46-89 - Large 90+ X-large If you are adopting an adult dog, which we consider 6 months of age or older, your adoption fee includes the following: Spay/Neuter, Rabies and Distemper shots, dewormed, flea & tick preventative, heartworm tested and microchipped. If you are adopting a dog younger than 6 months of age, the dog will be up to date on the shots as per the dogs age. The dog will be dewormed, flea/tick preventative and microchipped. We only spay/neuter our dogs by 6 months of age. If you decide to adopt a younger dog than 6 months of age, they will need to be spayed/neutered at one of our preferred clinics. This will be determined by your contract along with the month they should have their surgery. This is included in your adoption fee. Once you are approved with our rescue, you can meet any one of our dogs within the fosters home. If you are interested in the dog you met, you can take the dog home under our mandatory foster to adopt program. You receive 5 days to see if the dog is the right fit for your home. If it is, we will conduct the home visit and finalize adoption. If it is not, it is returned to the foster. We are happy to find you another dog that meets your needs in your home. If a dog is listed as PENDING, a family has met the dog and planning on adopting the dog after the home visit has been conducted. We always suggest sending in an application for a dog because there are times where the dogs are given back to us under the foster to adopt program. There are many reasons dogs are returned but normally it just was not the right fit for all. Please go to WWW.TAILWAGGERS911.COM under HOW TO ADOPT . We have an online application that is very easy to fill out. August 15, 2024, 9:27 pm

This little shy guy has a lot to offer his new family. Dutton has a typical heeler personality and behavior traits . He's very sweet and shy initially. Warms up slowly but is always very kind and respectful. He enjoys playing with other dogs . He's good with children just initially shy at first. He has a beautiful and wonderfully sweet disposition. He's being fostered by Ginny in Memphis, Tn. Once an application has been submitted and approved, Ginny would love to speak with you about him. He lives with another dog and two little adorable boys! Once adopted, Dutton will travel on Rescue Vet Transport to his new forever family. The Transport Company travels to the north east each and every weekend, leaving Memphis, Tennessee around 6 AM Friday morning, starting a group chat with adopters and drivers once departed and making stops along the way all the way up until West Greenwich, Rhode Island transport is an additional $185. Story
ARRIVING IN WI AUGUST 23rd! Jefferson is a handsome 5 month old mixed breed male puppy. He weighs about 28 pounds. We expect him to be medium size when fully grown. He has gorgeous soft black coat with white accents. Jefferson is a sweet puppy who cannot wait to have a home of his very own in WI. He gets along great with kids of all ages, other dogs of all sizes, and cats. He is working hard on his potty training skills in Texas, however he is just a young puppy living primarily outdoors at his foster home, therefore his new family should be prepared to do additional training while he learns the routine at his new home in WI. He is neutered, up to date on vaccines, dewormed and microchipped, and he comes with his medical records and interstate health certificate from a veterinary examination prior to leaving Texas, which certifies him to be in good condition. He will be arriving in Muskego, WI on Friday August 23rd, and will be available to meet, and take home if he is a good fit, by the first family to have placed an exclusive hold deposit as set out below. His adoption fee is $500, which will be used to support the many animals in our care whose medical bills far surpass their much lower adoption fee. He is available for an exclusive hold with a deposit of $250, which we give on a first come, first served, basis. The balance of the adoption fee is due upon meeting/finalizing the adoption. Should you find that he is not a good fit for your family upon meeting, the deposit is refundable.
