Story
Introducing Dakota! This little sweetie was rescued from an overcrowded TX shelter and made the trip to Wisconsin in hopes of finding a forever family. Dakota is a 5 month old puppy who weighs about 20 lbs. Dakota is a typical happy, sweet, playful, snuggly puppy. He loves playing with his toys and his canine foster siblings that range in size from 10 lbs to 100 lbs. After romping around with his siblings or a nice, little walk, he’s happy to curl up in your lap for a cozy nap. Dakota’s foster mom says he’s a super laid back, chill kind of guy. Dakota does well with dogs, cats and kids. He even does good with the ducks and chickens at his foster home! Dakota is working hard on potty training and his puppy manners and is doing a great job! Dakota is a puppy and does need patient reinforcement to continue working on his manners. Dakota’s new family should be committed to taking the time and having the patience to teach him to be the best boy he can be. Dakota is up to date on vaccines, flea/tick and heart worm prevention, is microchipped and neutered

$100.00 OF MY ADOPTION FEE HAS BEEN SPONSORED BY A MEMBER OF THE COMMUNITY. NOW ALL I NEED IS YOU!*Kodah may be deaf but knows all hand signals and is very smart·Intake Reason: Surrendered, too much for the senior cats in the home & being destructive-Weight: 50 pounds Known with: ·Cats: Lived with 2 - 15 year-old cats - too much for them but would likely do well with younger, playful, dog savvy cats ·Dogs: Played with neighbor dogs & does well in WCHS playgroups ·Kids: Lived with 2 - 11 year olds - goodFun Facts About Me:•My previous family got me an e-collar that vibrates that they used to get my attention since I need to be looking at someone to see a hand-signal•I am quite food motivated which helped me to learn several cues like ‘sit’, ‘down’, ‘paw/shake’, ‘come’, ‘spin’ and ‘dance’•I thoroughly enjoy my walks where I can explore the world and investigate all sorts of wonderful smells; I may not be a high-octane pip, but I do need daily exercise•I prefer my canine playmates to be calm and polite; although I am cool about hanging out with other pooches, often I keep to myself and simply like to sniff around•I am comfortable in a crate, especially when it is made up like a cozy little den and perhaps includes a long-lasting tasty treat; when alone, I would hang out in my crate, so I did not need to manage the whole house•At night I had the luxury of sleeping with my person in their bed and that was lovely•Since I have trouble hearing any dangers in the world, I will be counting on you to always keep me safe in a fenced yard or on a tie-out or leash•In my previous home I learned to bark at the door to let me people know I needed to use the outdoor facilities#1

Check out our Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok for more pictures & videos of our adoptable dogs!To sponsor my trip to WI, go to www.tailwaggers911.com for more info! ***I am able to go home to my forever family right off of transport! You get a 5 day trial with me in your home. Put in your application soon!*** Please help me get out! I am currently in a place where there are lots of unwanted dogs and not all of us here get the chance I might have to leave! But in order to help me out of here to catch the ride to WI on March 28th and arrive on March 29th, I need *both* a sponsor, and a WI foster home *or* a WI adopter! I have a place for now, but I can't stay here forever and I am worried. The rescue has put a hold on me to save my spot on the trip up north to WI, but now they need YOUR help to get me there - don't wait!!! Updated: 3/15/2025Dog Name: WranglerSex: MaleEstimated Breed Mix: Australian Cattle Dog MixApproximate Age: 1.5 years Approximate Weight: 46 lbsSpay/Neuter Status: NeuteredDescription:  This boy is a total gem- he is potty trained, great in truck, great around horses and cows. Doing fantastic in his foster! He is dog, kid and cat friendly! Very respectful and obedient in the home!  He was found in a cow field in Texas! Not sure if he fell off a truck or was dumped and wanted to stick with the cows bless his heart!! He’s an amazing dog who has the cutest little nubby tail that always wags! Adoption Fee: $450We are a Wisconsin state licensed dog rescue -WI# 402433   ***We do not have a central adoption center at this time. All our dogs are in private foster homes within WI. At this time we only place our dogs in areas of WI. The breed of our dogs is our best guess with the help of our veterinarians. Our Weight Classes are as follows: 0- 25lbs - Small 26- 45lbs - Medium 46-89 - Large 90+ X-large If you are adopting an adult dog, which we consider 6 months of age or older, your adoption fee includes the following: Spay/Neuter, Rabies and Distemper shots, dewormed, flea & tick preventative, heartworm tested and microchipped. If you are adopting a dog younger than 6 months of age, the dog will be up to date on the shots as per the dogs age. The dog will be dewormed, flea/tick preventative and microchipped. We only spay/neuter our dogs once they're at least 6 months old. If you decide to adopt a younger dog than 6 months, they will need to be spayed/neutered by your veterinarian when they are between 6 to 8 months old. Proof that the spay/neuter has been completed will need to be submitted to Tailwaggers911. Once proof of the spay/neuter has been received, we will refund $100 of your adoption fee via Venmo, PayPal or have a check in the mail within 15 days. Once you are approved with our rescue, you can meet any one of our dogs within the fosters home. If you are interested in the dog you met, you can take the dog home under our mandatory foster to adopt program. You receive 5 days to see if the dog is the right fit for your home. If it is, we will conduct the home visit and finalize adoption. If it is not, it is returned to the foster. We are happy to find you another dog that meets your needs in your home. If a dog is listed as ADOPTION IN PROCESS, a family has met the dog and planning on adopting the dog after the home visit has been conducted. We always suggest sending in an application for a dog because there are times where the dogs are given back to us under the foster to adopt program. There are many reasons dogs are returned but normally it just was not the right fit for all. Please go to WWW.TAILWAGGERS911.COM under HOW TO ADOPT . We have an online application that is very easy to fill out. March 16, 2025, 12:43 am

Story
In I’m Tillie, a 3-month-old Heeler/Shepherd mix, and I’m here to make your life infinitely better. No, seriously—do you need a hiking buddy? A swimming partner? A couch companion for movie nights? A personal shadow who follows you everywhere, including (but not limited to) the bathroom? Well, look no further.I’m smart (like, really smart), curious, and always up for an adventure. I love water, stuffed toys, and making new friends—both canine and human. I also love cats, but apparently, they don’t always appreciate my enthusiasm. (Rude, right? I’m working on it.)The only thing I don’t love? Being alone. I prefer to be near my people or my dog friends at all times. So, if you’re looking for an independent, “leave me alone” type of dog… yeah, that’s not me ( unless it’s nap time, I do like my naps). But if you want an affectionate, loyal, fun-loving sidekick who will stick with you through thick and thin, I’m your girl! I promise to bring laughter, love, and maybe a few wet, post-swim snuggles into your life. I am in Texas, but can pack my bag and travel to you in no time. My adoption fee is $395 out of state to include transport. You can apply for me here https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/SGDR/Dog
