Story
Meet Missy – A Loyal Heart Ready for a Second Chance!Missy is a beautiful Cattle Dog mix, born August 27, 2020, who is looking for a fresh start and a forever home filled with love and patience. After being abandoned at a local doggy daycare, Missy found her way to us, and now we’re on a mission to find her the perfect family. What We Know About Missy: Loyal to her favorites – Missy loves women but isn’t a fan of men.Dog-friendly – She thrives with other dogs and would do best in a home with a canine companion.Active & playful – She enjoys fun adventures and needs a family who can keep up with her energy.Needs time to trust – Due to her past, Missy takes time to warm up to new people, but having a doggy friend by her side helps her feel safe. House & kennel trained – She’s got the basics down! Leash manners in progress – Missy does tend to pull on the leash, so a little training will go a long way. Best in an adult-only home – We recommend a home without children.Missy deserves a patient, understanding adopter who will give her the second chance at happiness she rightfully deserves. If you’re ready to open your heart and home to this special girl, apply online today at eastshoreha.org. Once we review your application, our team will reach out to schedule a personal meet and greet with Missy! Let’s find Missy the loving forever home she’s been waiting for!

Story
Hey there, Fred here. I am a Red Heeler mix that came up from North Carolina. I am a goof, sweet pup who is afraid of cats. I love to be around people of all ages and love kids. I am doing very well with potty training. I am quiet in my kennel at night, but only when I am in the same room with my human foster. I like to play with my doggie foster sister too. I really like treats and to eat my food, so my foster thinks I am going to be a very easy boy to train. If you think I might be the perfect addition to your family please set up a meet and greet so we can see.

Story
Meet your new best buddy; Chico!Chico arrived at FVHA as an owner surrender. This handsome guy is energetic, fun-loving, and always ready for an adventure! He would thrive in a home with a fenced in yard and a family dedicated to providing the exercise and enrichment that a smart, active dog like Chico deserves. He isn`t all about athleticism though, Chico is also happy to snuggle up with his humans for affection. If you`re looking for a dog to get you up and moving, Chico is the one!Chico previously lived with another dog but can be selective with dog friends. We would recommend a dog meet at FVHA prior to adoption! Chico would be happiest with calm, older children/teens who know how to respect a dogs space. Due to his curious and energetic nature, we would recommend a home without kitty cats!Chico is neutered, up to date on core vaccinations, has received dewormer, flea, tick, & heartworm prevention, and is microchipped. If you have any questions about Chico or our adoption process, please reach out to us at 920-733-1717 or adopt@foxvalleypets.org and book an appointment to meet with him today!

Story
Introducing Dakota! This little sweetie was rescued from an overcrowded TX shelter and made the trip to Wisconsin in hopes of finding a forever family. Dakota is a 5 month old puppy who weighs about 20 lbs. Dakota is a typical happy, sweet, playful, snuggly puppy. He loves playing with his toys and his canine foster siblings that range in size from 10 lbs to 100 lbs. After romping around with his siblings or a nice, little walk, he’s happy to curl up in your lap for a cozy nap. Dakota’s foster mom says he’s a super laid back, chill kind of guy. Dakota does well with dogs, cats and kids. He even does good with the ducks and chickens at his foster home! Dakota is working hard on potty training and his puppy manners and is doing a great job! Dakota is a puppy and does need patient reinforcement to continue working on his manners. Dakota’s new family should be committed to taking the time and having the patience to teach him to be the best boy he can be. Dakota is up to date on vaccines, flea/tick and heart worm prevention, is microchipped and neutered
