Story
This poor boy is still looking for his own forever home !! We are shocked since he is the goodest boy ever !! And so very handsome, you could turn heads together walking down the street :) Hey it's Pumpernickel here (Pumpkin for short) and yes I have been told how smashingly adorable I am hehe. I made the trip to Wisconsin and am looking for a place to call my own. Since being in Wisconsin I have learned to play fetch and catch Frisbees. I don't always bring them back, but love to run around with them. I love going on walks and even enjoy running with my foster dad and girl. My leash skills are good and even have learned to run along when needed. So if you need a running partner I'm game, or a nice fenced in yard to play catch, I am easy like that. When I'm lounging in the house I love chewing on antlers and hard toys. I do love the squeaking toys. Finding the squeaker is top priority! I have also conquered treat puzzle toys. They make me use my brain. The teenager girl in the home will play chase me and cuddle with me when done. When I'm not playing I love to be with my people. Cars rides with my people are the best. That way I can explore the world with you. I have been to parades and a baseball game even, yep just call me Mr. Social. Being with you is on the top of my list. I'm potty trained and go in the kennel with a little boost. I'm a young male around 1-2 years old. I do know some basic commands like sit, lay down, off and leave it. In my foster home I do have two dogs, the older one ignores me but the other one is fun we play chase thru the yard. Being younger and playful I would like a dog just as playful in the home or a home where I'm the one and only. I do love all the attention and belly rubs. I love all dogs and people I meet. If you feel like I'm a perfect companion for you apply at Sandi Paws. I cannot wait to make memories with you !Thank you for your interest in a Sandi Paws Rescue, Inc. Please visit our site at sandipaws.org for more information on our organization or to fill out an application to adopt one of our pets. You can find information for volunteering on our site as well.

Check out our Facebook page and YouTube channel for more pictures & videos of our adoptable dogs!Updated: 6/22/2024 Dog Name: Kylo Sex: Male Estimated Breed Mix: Australian Koolie Approximate Age: 2 years Approximate Weight: 20-25 lbs Description: Kylo was dumped out in the county in rural Texas. He was so happy to see someone stop to check on him, he clung onto them begging for help! He is doing so well in his Tx foster but he is eager to get to WI. He is loving and sweet, he has an adorable smile and is a dog who is eager to please! He went home with a family right after coming to Wisconsin, but it wasn't the right fit. Is your home right for him? Adoption Fee: $400We are a Wisconsin state licensed dog rescue -WI# 402433   ***We do not have a central adoption center at this time. All our dogs are in private foster homes within WI. At this time we only place our dogs in areas of WI. The breed of our dogs is our best guess with the help of our veterinarians. Our Weight Classes are as follows: 0- 25lbs - Small 26- 45lbs - Medium 46-89 - Large 90+ X-large If you are adopting an adult dog, which we consider 6 months of age or older, your adoption fee includes the following: Spay/Neuter, Rabies and Distemper shots, dewormed, flea & tick preventative, heartworm tested and microchipped. If you are adopting a dog younger than 6 months of age, the dog will be up to date on the shots as per the dogs age. The dog will be dewormed, flea/tick preventative and microchipped. We only spay/neuter our dogs by 6 months of age. If you decide to adopt a younger dog than 6 months of age, they will need to be spayed/neutered at one of our preferred clinics. This will be determined by your contract along with the month they should have their surgery. This is included in your adoption fee. Once you are approved with our rescue, you can meet any one of our dogs within the fosters home. If you are interested in the dog you met, you can take the dog home under our mandatory foster to adopt program. You receive 5 days to see if the dog is the right fit for your home. If it is, we will conduct the home visit and finalize adoption. If it is not, it is returned to the foster. We are happy to find you another dog that meets your needs in your home. If a dog is listed as PENDING, a family has met the dog and planning on adopting the dog after the home visit has been conducted. We always suggest sending in an application for a dog because there are times where the dogs are given back to us under the foster to adopt program. There are many reasons dogs are returned but normally it just was not the right fit for all. Please go to WWW.TAILWAGGERS911.COM under HOW TO ADOPT . We have an online application that is very easy to fill out. August 15, 2024, 9:27 pm
