Story
We'd like to introduce you to a very special boy named MJ. MJ came to Wisconsin this last weekend after spending the last 3 months in foster care in Texas healing, recovering, and learning to be a dog. He was one of the few medium-sized dogs among many small breed dogs seized from a large hoarding case in Texas that also brought us past alumni Kiff and Nimbus. MJ was saved from a home covered in feces that contained over 40 dogs that were not taken care of or even socialized. When he got to Texas foster care, he was completely shut down and covered in Mange (shown in the last 2 pics). His Texas foster did everything in her power to help him learn that people could be safe and to help make him healthy again. We are so grateful that she did this because now he has joined us in Wisconsin at Our Pack and is doing great! While he is still nervous and gets startled easily, he is doing well even in a busy household with dogs of all sizes and even with men and children. He is his new foster momma's shadow and follows her everywhere, and it's been especially fun seeing his goofy side of getting the morning zoomies with his 4-legged friends. This special boy has won the hearts of many already, but is now on the search for his furever family to help him complete his journey. He has been accident free and shows no food aggression despite his rough start. He is searching for someone who will continue socialization and be patient with him as he learns more and more each day.August 19, 2024, 8:22 pm

Story
Luna is a super sweet, snuggly, loveable dog. We got her when she was a puppy from a rescue in Racine. She came from a shelter in Texas as she was found on the Texas New Mexico border. She is now 6 years old. She is house trained, leash trained, and knows a variety of trucks. She is very eager to learn and love her people. She is amazing with small children, instinctively knowing to play gentle and let the child(ren) win tug of war and such. The reason for rehoming is that she does not always get along with our other dog and needs to be the only dog in the home. A home with someone who knows how to handle an intelligent working breed is best. She loves car rides and snow. She does do well with a basket muzzle if you want to take her to a park or around other dogs for short periods. We are devastated to have to give her away and hope a loving family is ready to take her in.

Story
This poor boy is still looking for his own forever home !! We are shocked since he is the goodest boy ever !! And so very handsome, you could turn heads together walking down the street :) Hey it's Pumpernickel here (Pumpkin for short) and yes I have been told how smashingly adorable I am hehe. I made the trip to Wisconsin and am looking for a place to call my own. Since being in Wisconsin I have learned to play fetch and catch Frisbees. I don't always bring them back, but love to run around with them. I love going on walks and even enjoy running with my foster dad and girl. My leash skills are good and even have learned to run along when needed. So if you need a running partner I'm game, or a nice fenced in yard to play catch, I am easy like that. When I'm lounging in the house I love chewing on antlers and hard toys. I do love the squeaking toys. Finding the squeaker is top priority! I have also conquered treat puzzle toys. They make me use my brain. The teenager girl in the home will play chase me and cuddle with me when done. When I'm not playing I love to be with my people. Cars rides with my people are the best. That way I can explore the world with you. I have been to parades and a baseball game even, yep just call me Mr. Social. Being with you is on the top of my list. I'm potty trained and go in the kennel with a little boost. I'm a young male around 1-2 years old. I do know some basic commands like sit, lay down, off and leave it. In my foster home I do have two dogs, the older one ignores me but the other one is fun we play chase thru the yard. Being younger and playful I would like a dog just as playful in the home or a home where I'm the one and only. I do love all the attention and belly rubs. I love all dogs and people I meet. If you feel like I'm a perfect companion for you apply at Sandi Paws. I cannot wait to make memories with you !Thank you for your interest in a Sandi Paws Rescue, Inc. Story
We have had Chico since he was a baby, my mother bought him for my eldest, and he ended up my responsibility lol. He is supposedly a red healer and he is a bundle of energy. He is constantly around my 4 kids (a teen, twin 8 year olds, and a five year old). He was a covid dog though so he isn't very socialized with lots of people or animals. My mom lives with us and she has a small dog that he gets along with fine. He really does need someone who will socialize him as I just do not have the time. He needs a family with a yard that is fenced. I do not have the money or permission to install a fence on my property and he is a runner. He has so much energy and just wants to run around. I have to walk him on a leash cause he slips out of every type of tie out I have tried, there for every time i open the door without putting him in his kennel first he is off!!! He has come to taking that as play time and has turned me getting him back into a game. He loves to ride in the car!

Story
Meet Fawn, the Sweet and Playful Pup! Fawn is an adorable bundle of love with a heart full of affection! This charming girl has just the right amount of energy-she's always up for a fun play session, but also enjoys taking those much-needed nap breaks. Fawn loves romping around with other dogs, but when she's on her own, she transforms into a calm and cuddly companion, always ready for some quality snuggle time with you. Fawn's striking green eyes are truly something special-they're not just beautiful, they're her secret weapon for winning over hearts. One look into those eyes, and you'll find yourself giving her all the hugs and attention she could ever want! Fawn is an absolute delight, but there's one thing we want to note-little kids can make her a bit nervous. However, if you've got older kids who are respectful and not too loud, Fawn might just find them to be the perfect buddies. If you're looking for a dog who thrives on affection and brings joy to every day, Fawn is eager to meet you! Consider applying to bring this sweet girl home today.
