I love to play and explore. Sometimes, I can be a little shy, but once I get to know you, I'm as sweet as can be. I'm always ready for a game of fetch or a fun adventure. I came here with my buddy Rockee, and we've been having a blast. But I'm ready for a new chapter. I'm looking for a family who loves to play as much as I do, and who can give me lots of love and cuddles. I promise to bring joy and laughter into your life. Polk County Humane Society is located in Bolivar, Missouri, but also makes transports to the Denver, CO, Des Moines, IA and Minneapolis, MN areas twice a month. For potential adopters in those areas, we can do a virtual visit using FaceTime or another app. Just request an appointment using the same link, but note that you want the visit to be virtual and we will call you at the time of the visit once it is confirmed. For long distance transports, there is an additional $100 fee to cover the cost of the transport ($65) and a health certificate from a veteinarian ($35). Events are held each Saturday from 12 pm to 5 pm at our office: 2721 W Oxford Ave., Suite 6 Englewood, CO 80110 *In order to protect our puppies, we do not allow puppies to attend open events until they have a minimum of two vaccinations. Puppies who are available, but not listed on our weekly Facebook event, are considered "deposit only" puppies. These puppies will only attend the event IF they are reserved through a deposit. You can check the list of puppies attending the open event by checking the event: https://www.facebook.com/MAMCORescue At MAMCO we understand that in order to continue rescuing moms and babies, we must stretch our finances as far as we are able. For this reason we use variable adoption pricing. By assigning higher adoption fees to high demand moms and puppies, we are able to rescue more families in need.The money raised through these adoptions acts as a benefactor to moms and puppies in our care who require expensive veterinary treatments, have behavioral issues, or need more time to find a home. We often reduce the adoption fees on these harder-to-place moms and puppies to help them find forever families. Adoption fees vary. Applications can be filled out at mamcorescue.org. NAHMAY Male, Neutered 3yrs Kelpi X Tested good with cats Tested okay with dogs Nahmay is a boy who don't mind other dogs but would rather be with dogs who are more mellow and don't jump on him. He will play with other dogs but if they jump on him he will get upset. Nahmay was brought to us no fault of his own but his owner couldn't keep him any longer. Nahmay is a happy go lucky boy who is very smart. He is house trained and kennel trained. Nahmay was said to be good off leash when he was with his previous owner. Nahmay is looking for a home where he can be loved and go out and do stuff with his new owner!!
