Kelpie/Belgium Malinois/Rhodhesian Ridg Icall him Roaver :) Sweet boy was scared and hungry when I found him at the playground he was abandoned at. I am sharing my home with him trying to find his next step. He is healthy and very strong now. He can be nervous of strangers but warms up with treats and walks. He is learning that people are kind too. He seeks your loving presence for reassurance. He needs to build his confidence with someone who is lovingly devoted to him, like he will be to you. He loves dog parks and playing chase/ball and loves bones and squeaking toys. He is happy now but I cannot keep him. My apt has a dog # limit (Ive got my own 2) and he cannot live with a cat (Ive got 1). He is so sweet, plays with my pups/kids and protects you. Beautiful boy w/ goofy giant ears when he is happy. He is crate trained, potty trained, neutered, and fully vaccinated. His adoption fee can be negotiated but covers his shots, surgery, crate, blankets, no pull lead, harness, and leash.

Jayla was found in January in the freezing rain covered in mud just down the street from my housing area. I brought her home, bathed her, fed her, gave her water and put her in a quiet place in the house to sleep. She slept for 36 hours, after that, she was no longer the timid and scared dog that I brought home. That weekend I took her to the vet to get scanned and she had no microchip. She also got an ultrasound to see if she was pregnant, and sure enough she was; with 9 puppies. She gave birth to those 9 on 2/17/24 and still has larger than life energy. She gets along well with my 2 large dogs, is very energetic, loves to play fetch. Through SNAP she is currently up to date on vaccinations and has a microchip. Currently on heart-worm medication.

He's really smart and gets bored easily, so if he goes too long without exercise or attention he may start digging or chewing on stuff. He goes to the dog park a lot, and plays nice with the other dogs and people. He's so sweet and goofy. He would do really well if you want to take him on outdoor adventures or road trips. His owner passed away, and I'm trying to find a loving home that can take him in. I'm currently paying a long-term pet sitter, because the landlord doesn't allow dogs where I live.

Lonely, hungry, and scared, I waited for them to come back for me for a week but they never returned. Luckily my foster mom brought me home with her and gave me a nice bath and food in my belly and a comfy bed to sleep in. I am now fully vetted, spayed, & HW positive but please don't let that stop you from adopting me. I think Id do best In a home with no cats or smaller animals. I do well with my big brother who’s a German shepherd. Peanut butter and pup cups are the way to my heart. I know basic commands like sit, lay down, shake, stay and I am completely house trained! I am one loyal companion and I cant wait to give you all of my love and affection!

Found blind, emaciated, dehydrated and abandoned in a ditch, someone let this pup down big time. Luckily, Loretta was rescued by Karnes County Humane Organization and offered a temporary refuge. The organization issued a plea for help, and after hearing about her story, SNIPSA decided to step in, too. Loretta has been transferred into a foster home where she can relax as she awaits a prospective adopter. Despite her current state, she was clearly a beloved pet at some point in her life. Loretta wastes no time in befriending humans. She will eagerly crawl into your lap for pets and trustingly follow your scent during trips outside. Having lost most of her sight, she relies mostly on her nose and partial hearing to navigate her surroundings. She has also has an excellent appetite and always cleans her bowl! From what we’ve seen, Loretta would do just fine with other pets as long as they can respect her fragile condition.
