Story
Meet Onyx! This sweet 1.5-year-old, 40-pound girl looks like an Australian Kelpie mix, possibly with Lab and Terrier. She has been an amazing mama to her seven puppies and is now ready for a forever home of her own!Onyx gets along well with her foster’s small dogs and has done fine with cats, though she sometimes likes to bark at the felines. She’s about 95% house trained and uses pee pads when she can’t go outside. She absolutely LOVES being outdoors and does great off-leash, always coming when called. She’s still working on her leash skills, but with a little patience, she’ll get there! If you’re looking for a loving, loyal companion who enjoys outdoor adventures and snuggles, Onyx could be the perfect fit!IMPORTANT: Please read all below, especially if you live outside of Texas, which is where our rescue is located.Apply to adopt on our website: https://www.charmingpetrescue.org/adoptAll of our animals are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up to date on shots.ALL of our animals are located in Boerne, TX, but transport after adoption is available to other states for a $300 fee for dogs or an additional fee varying by location for cats. If you are seeing our pets posted in your state, that's because you live near a transport stop, they are not currently at that location. Petfinder lists our pets as "Out of Town" pets at other locations, and Adopt-a-Pet lists our location as a Transport stop. Those are currently the only options they offer to make this clear, so we put this description we've put at the bottom to explain it. You can read more about transport here: www.charmingpetrescue.org/transportWe understand transport is not an option for everyone, but we offer it at the cost we pay the transport company for those who wish to adopt from us.

WE ARE A TX BASED RESCUE. THIS DOG IS CURRENTLY LOCATED IN TX AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED UPON ADOPTION. Please fill out an adoption application found at haydudeequine.org Merlin - You are the bridge between what was and what will be, my pathway to a new life! Looking for a new FBF (furry best friend)? Look no further than Merlin (hey, hey, that's me!) and I'm here looking to adopt me a family, a home...one I can say will be all mine! And since you're reading this, I'm hoping that you'll consider making ME a part of yours!!!! I got my name cuz I'm pretty good at magic. I magically appeared in my foster mom's fenced yard and they are still trying to figure that one out. I can also magically fit myself into my favoritest bed from when I was smaller. I'm now ready to start on this new chapter of my life with lots of hugs, puppy kisses and playtime with my new family!!! I'm around 9 months old and I come in at about 30lbs, which should put me at a fantastic size when I get myself all growed up, although I shouldn't get a whole lot bigger(35-40lbs). I love playing and am energetic, ready to share in all your adventures from the mundane daily to your weekend exciting!! I love people both tall and small, love playing with the other pups here at my foster home but I haven't had the pleasure of meeting any of those strange creatures y'all call a cat yet. I have that innocent spirit that loves living life to the fullest, that energy that loves exploring the world around me and that playful demeanor that finds joy in everything!! I am one smart cookie (yes, my foster momma tells me so!) as I'm already house and crate trained and I know how to use the doggie door. That lets us get right to all that fun stuff...right away. I've got a beautiful coat that is pretty easy in the maintenance department, kind of a wash-n-go type of fella. You do know what that means, don't ya? Yep yep, more time for the spoil me rotten department!! I am sooooo ready to unleash all this awesomeness on a family and be that lil heartbeat at your feet, so if you think I'd be a pawsome fit for your home, please stop scrolling and fill out my adoption application! It can be found at haydudeequine.org With lots of sincere tail wags and puppy kisses, Merlin💗💗

Story
Welcome Dixie to CCPAL Rescue. She is a 9-month old Smooth Coated Collie/Kelpie is our best guess on breed. She weighs 50 pounds. She is very very loyal to her people and would be great with someone wanting a dog to go with you places or if you work from home and want a loyal partner. She is crate trained, potty trained, good on a leash and good in a car. She was found as a stray and her foster mom has been putting this girl through dog training. She is doing really good in her classes and is learning some more basic commands. She is a higher energy dog and would be great for a runner, jogger or hiker type person. She is lower on the shed scale. She has a lot of personality and would be fine with children. We like them to be 8 or older. Her best home would be with a fenced yard. She could run and play off some energy. She likes you to be outside with her as she wants to be around her family over exploring the yard all along without you. She would be fine with children as well. We like them to be 8 or older. She is up on her vaccinations, spayed and ready for her forever home. She is in Texas and can be adopted locally or we can work with one of the wonderful transporters to get her to Washington, Portland(Oregon), Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. We can put you in touch with her foster mom after you put in and get your application approved. We can also set up a meet and greet if you are local in Texas. Her adoption fee is 300 and transport is 200. Contact Marlene at 210-867-1769 or email ccpalinquiries@gmail.com if you have questions. Online applications at www.ccpalrescue.org/ See her cute video.

Story
I acquired Luna at around 10 months from a co-worker., she is a rescue. Luna is currently about 3 years of age. I gave Luna to a family member when she was a year old, but I recently got her back. She is spayed and has up to date vaccinations. She is very protective of family, shy and cautious around new people. She loves to play with cats and other dogs when she's used to them around. I have taken her to doggy daycare and dog parks before. She has received basic training, but is still working on a few things. I'm looking to rehome her due to financial problems.

Story
Hi! I`m Hank the Cow Dog I`m a sweet boy who is a bit shy at first but when I open up I have a medium to hi energy level. I`m eager to play and I have a pretty high vertical jump I would do best in a home with older children who can accommodate my current shy nature. I enjoy time in the play yard, and enjoy being petted.

Story
THEY DO NOT NEED TO BE ADOPTED TOGETHER. These 2 sweet girls were pulled from a high kill shelter right before the cold weather hit. The facility reached out to us and we could not say no. A cold kennel is no place for a 7 lb puppy. These girls are so sweet and affectionate, they love toys and love to snuggle. They are very active little girls and will keep you on your toes, but they promise to be a couch potato as needed too. If interested in either of these girls please email us.

Story
This sweet face was found and brought to a local kill shelter. The volunteers went into action and contacted us to see if we had room. We did! Holly is a sweet, playful, happy, fuzzy girl, who just want attention. She is a very expressive girl and will tell you how she is feeling. Holly has lots of energy so she will need lots of room to play. She would make the best companion. If interested in meeting Holly please email us for an application.

Story
This sweet boy was pulled from death row at animal control. He and his sister didn't have much time left. Vinnie has a very kind personality, skittish at first but will warm up when he gets to know you. He is a bit frightened of being touched or held so you just have to work with his terms. He will allow affection, but on his terms and when he is in the mood. We assume he did not receive much affection or care, if at all, but he still is just waiting on his forever home to love. Vinnie does like other dogs, loves toys, seems to be crate trained a bit. Vinnie is a great boy, with so much potential in the right home, he would probably do best in a quiet home without small children and he IS a flight risk, and will need an experience adopter. We hope that you will give him a chance.
